Does this last level lag terribly for any other PC users? I've been running the game on the highest settings quite easily on every other level, but when I get to the big boss of this one it lags like fuark and oftentimes stalls my computer to the point in which I have to do a manual restart. I've tried using lowest settings but that helps none.

Easy part once you know what you gotta do. Crysis was short and weak. Not a good game, just a generic PC shooter like all i played on PC. From Far Cry to Fear, all weak low budget shooters on PC. Give me God of War or Uncharted any day.

WTF the console version is effed up. The "Ascension" stage where you fly the plane isn't there and this "Reckoning" stage is the same up to the point where the island gets nuked and the ship gets attacked. After that it just skips to the part where you run outside and fight the big Hunter alien then the alien Warship boss WITHOUT the TAC gun! And there is no way to get to it since the game skipped! They screwed up the programming transfering this game to the consoles doing a rush job.

I figured it out...the game has a glitch. After the ship gets destroyed you gain consciousness and you go down flights of stairs (3:30 in that vid), then you knock down that door at 4:18. Well, I didn't knock down that door since the game wasn't very clear on where to go and instead continued to the right, down another flight of stairs and you skip to the part where an alien breaks into the ship and the Admiral gets killed (16:17 in the vid). You miss the reactor/TAC gun scene.

Funny how you skip 12 minutes of the game by missing that door and going down another flight of stairs...LOL. They messed up in the programming there. The "Ascension" stage also still does not exist in the console version of the game. Anyways, I've played and beat Crysis 2.  A whole lot better improvement than part 1. Been playing online multiplayer on it ever since...

To everyone who can't open the doors: Use strength mode and punch the doors, thery should open. If they don't open then, you've got the wrong door

How do you run fraps with the game running on last level without insane lag. I played through on windows xp on release with my old computer.

I have recently bought a new one and decided to test run on crysis

i had some colouring issues on the last 3 levels and then on last level the lag is unplayable

After buying extra RAM it has increased frame rates but still has lag spikes every so often

Anything i can do? the lag stays the same no matter how low i set it too

@LewisTee08 believe me i played crysis on a dual core 1.6ghz, 2gb ram and on 9600gt on all med/high settings! i havent come up with any lag ur talking about... only it just crashed itself 1 time in this level... but after running the game again i ended it... maybe u need to update ur drives or run a hdd defragmentation!

In the end, when you're in the VTOL and the chick almost falls out, you automaticly get strength activated, I wouldn't worry about not being able to pull her in or slipping the grip, I would be worried about her arm not getting teared off. Maximum Strenght is heavy stuff.

this game does not work well for me, once i had to restart the chapter because the mission was bugged, then when i got my rocket launcher it said there was no missiles left while i should have 3 and my computer restarts in the last chapters because of memory error, and i have 8gb ddr3, someone knows whats the problem? have windows 7 ultimate 64bit and play crysis 32bit(64 doesn't work either)

Same. There is major clipping in this level. I'll fall through the ship and be in water, or in another part of the ship, and die. What sucked the most is that I finally beat the last guy and I was running to the VTOL and I fell through the deck. I tried 10 times and several different routes but I kept falling through, so I just watched the end on youtube. Stupid glitchy ass level. The rest of the game was fine.

Just brake those things that are on err which one anyway the 1st boss or 2nd? if 2nd then you should brake those missiles and wait till the chopper puts its shield off then you can use TAC :P

@UndyingSimmons I was also having this issue, untill I realized that the experimental mini nuke gun, is to be used for what comes next (don't want to spoil but its at 20:30). For the first guy use Gauss gun and the rocket launcher, it will take a lot to take down but you will bring it down. I have found aiming at it mouth/gun area works, but you can shoot it where ever. Hope this helps :D

To Rpg - I know I had to use the binoculars to see a blue outline for ammo/weapons.

You should be able to grab it on your way back up after the reactors (about 15:00 here) I couldn't pick

up a missile/rpg on the deck & had to reload a saved game & it worked then.

I've had times where the RPG doesn't pull up when I go thru my weapons even when I have it. Just try to reload your last saved game & try again
