The reason why Regine didn't attempt to become a singer in America, was because they wanted her to lie about her nationality and age for some reason. And she got offended when some other nationalities would tell her that Filipinos are known as maids only and that they wanted her to not tell her real nationality. She said so herself on an interview. Charice was just lucky because it's the right time for her and she didn't go through what Regine had experienced.

The reason why Regine didn't attempt to become a singer in America, was because they wanted her to lie about her nationality and age for some reason. And she got offended when some other nationalities would tell her that Filipinos are known as maids only and that they wanted her to not tell her real nationality. She said so herself on an interview. Charice was just lucky because it's the right time for her and she didn't go through what Regine had experienced.

@500night LOL so first of all, define me the meaning of a 'cover'. it's something that REAL musicians make their own versions by changing the vocal styling, adding their notes, complementing vocal instruments, putting some riffs and runs to make it a REMAKE. has regine done any of those to her so called covers? #FAIL that's why she is never be a cover artist, but rather a copy cat still. oops..LOL
