  • he just rocks LISTEN

  • Jimi Hendrix was a bluesman first and foremost. Had he passed the pills, he sounds like 50 year old old pro here. Think of what he would have done at 50 25 yeras later...Cliché, I know, but it's the truth....

  • this guy is fucking AMAZING, he could play jazz, blues, rock rythm & blues, wow, and he was only 27 when he died, Just Imagine what could have done with 5 more years of life.......AWESOME!

  • i talk to jimi all the time, hes one cool dude he sends me messages, and i pick them up sometimes.

  • @crazymofo979 you should take less drugs

  • @kimmedavid no he shouldnt.

  • kjhjhdfikjhoiu

  • fabulous

  • Think i gonna make me a nice gree tea ;-) and than i´m gonna enjoy this song and other Hendrix pieces !

  • omfg!! I finally found it!!!!! I've been up for three hours looking for this song!!! Looked at almost every hendrix video out there....I heard this on Jimi Hendrix live at woodstock....and i found it!!

    Oh how good it feels

  • Holy shit, this song-

  • piola pa la vola

  • tengo 12 años y esto me conmueve!

  • @xtremeteamCS

welcome mate... tk careof ur soul-)

  • @xtremeteamCS Yo tengo 17 y tambien me conmueve.. No importa la edad.

  • Hehehe i recognise this track from the Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstoch dvd. Its the background track in the selection menu ..

didnt know it was called easy blues though :)

  • JIMMI (R.I.P)

  • Siiiiiiicccckk

  • hard to explain

  • Really swingin' rythmic placement, Maybe the direction Hendrix would have taken, kind of futuristic jazz. Nowadays' pop musics may need more improvisation to get better.

  • Yeah!!!

  • Mello--That song is called My Friend from The Cry of Love originally and most recently First Rays of the New Rising Sun.

  • Jimmi had a bluses cut that started out wiyh "yall pass me that bottle and i'll sing yall a real song" anyone know this song????

  • @mellokatt "My Friend"

  • @mellokatt i take a quick look in the mirror to make sure MY FRIEND's here with me too!

  • If you really want to hear what jimi would be playing and sounding like today,I suggest go and listen to Buddy Guy`s 2001 grammy nominated masterpiece `SWEET TEA` !!! Jimi would have done what all Great players do after they have done it all.....`BACK TO THE BLUES` !!!

  • @twinsof86 BACK TO JAZZ

  • @twinsof86 Ha if you told me a single person would do what Jimi did in just four years (or how ever short it was) I would say maybe in his lifetime. So now your asking what he could have done in a lifetime? jeeeeeez

  • Very Jazzy Jimi.....the sort of stuff I think he may have produced, if he had lived longer.

He seemed drawn to Jazz by his oncore song at Woodstock. Who knows.?

  • Sounds very jazzy, loving the bass/ drumming. Commenting about the guitar on a Hendrix song is pointless although I'm doing it atm. :)

  • @evilmonkey609 Why is it pointless?

  • @JimmyPage97 Jimi Hendrix guitar playing has alot of praise already so to add more is a bit unnecessary.

  • @evilmonkey609 Who are you to tell me what is and isn't necessary? Sorry I missed the memo :D

  • my goodness this is one in a billion

  • I can almost play like this, jimi was good

  • this is one of em things where everything is in the right place at the right time....i get the "same" feeling as with "born under a bad sign" from the "blues" album...goddamn it, i am so thankful for being offered the opportunity this stuff to enter my head through my ears to feed my soul. thanks youtube!!!! thanks uploader!!!!

  • I have a ten minute version...

  • Really interesting to hear this after years of only knowing the edited version on "Nine To The Universe." Fex, I love how Douglas and company edited out the solo work by the second guitarist (I forget, was that Larry Lee?).

  • Good stuff !

  • igessthsisgrwnup: :)

  • Jimi At his best always dig his blues yeaaaaaaaaaa!!

  • gloria?

  • I have always loved the various versions of this. Thanks. Benny Golson's KILLER JOE minus the bridge,

  • @Duirate
