I decided to take a listen to this album when a classmate did a presentation on this in our narrative theory class. The story's really sad and strange, but I think I'm in love with this album and will ask for it for Christmas. It's all so rich, with the metal, the child-like singing, the actual children singing, the violins, etc. Very cool. I approve.

Brilliant finale of the tragic story line. The waves-- figuratively of the "wanting" and literally of the Annan Water--do them both in at the end. The representation of the fatal wave at the end of the song is excellent.
