When I first heard 2000 Watts I thought although the voice is low it sounded like MJ. This is not the same with Breaking News. The moment I heard this I thought it sounded like Jason. Why would 3 songs, supposedly recorded in the exact same studio and being of the same songwriters sound odd compared to the other songs? MJ has recorded on worse equipment (such as the phone call from (I Like) The Way You Love Me)

they had a really rough demo that Michael wanted to record again properly if he was actually going to release the song, but of course he never got the chance. It would've been a shame if this piece of beautiful art was never released. You can hear his rough voice over the chorus especially.
