AMAZING APPLICATION!! Ive been trying to get different gadgets to control XBMC - Wireless miniKeyboards and such...what a waste of money...the interface is just...breathtaking! love it love it love it!
Just downloaded the app and configuring, so far so good but I dont have the option for Auto Setup available for 3G access...how do I set it up then? :-(
SO if you have Dharma the network settings are different. You have to press RIGHT on the keyboard when hovering over "system" to find the "system info" tab. Stupid makers of this app can bother to charge out the ass for it but can't bother to keep the shit updated. Fuck this company.
i dont got that "server" choice on my computer...dunno why, i had XBMC for over a year now, got it all perfect! aeon skins and all smooth, still i set this normal projekt mayhem 3 skin and no server choice still.....whats wrong? o,O
I went to ; System->Settings->Network->Services.There I checked everything,(so xbmc allows other programs on the network to control xbmc) I set the port to 8080 and chose my own username/password (ps! its case sensitive.)
On the iphone I had to manually add my computer's ip adress. then I threw in the 8080 port number and the username / password I chose in XBMC and BANG, thank you mum!
Wish these comments were on the app store .... Because I wouldn't have bought it . My network settings is also different and tryed all of the suggestions on xmbc forums and didn't work... how about you guys update the video for this for all people that can't get this to work... Or maybe you figure you have our money already so what's the point. Or maybe you'll just cop out and say it's the xmbc software not yours which I heard acouple times during your video...
i probably never gonna make this running .. any of media center any remote control apps wont work firewall is set up good . or off (neather way wont ) some apps actually find server but there is conection problem .. so what i`m doing wrong ? who wold think this is so complicated .. but playing games with zooz control on iphone works like charm .. i really dont understand .

Were you go into servers in the settings alas it reads is
Enable web server
Web server port
Web server password
That's all no username

on the 3G network i dont have the option of auto setup i have version 1.7.8 and im on a jailbroken iphone 3g on 3.2.1 thanks

Easy life, works perfectly and I have remote control of 3 XBMC installs, 1 on Live, 1 on Vista 32bit and 1 on Win7 64bit.

The network menu is different now.
I made it work by doing this:
I went to ; System->Settings->Network->Services.There I checked everything,(so xbmc allows other programs on the network to control xbmc) I set the port to 8080 and chose my own username/password (ps! its case sensitive.)
