As to the song artist - I would like to politely correct the one who answered, and say that it is by Rachid Taha and called "ya rayah". It is available on a CD called "Cairo to Casablanca - an Arabic Musical Odessey", by PUTMAYO World Music. If you like N.African music then it is definately worth getting this CD - even my kids like it!

I got a good kick out of this!! It brought back memories of a great trip. I like this video because it shows the down-to earth life there. I also like the musical choice - I have this song on a CD and I always thought it deserved to be made into a video about travelling somewhere, probably along the roads of Morocco - so , you beat me to it! than an option to get around. They
