I really like this video, but it saddens me to see all of the other comments talking about how this saved people from days of reading and will help them ace their next test. Yes, it's a great video, but it was meant to enhance and ease the reading, not replace it. Everyone who simply substitutes this video for the play is not only missing out on many important details, but on a great piece of theatre and literature as well.
Absolutely beyond teachers and lecturers........A book of 20 pages that i am suppose to read and i did it in 9.02 mins through this.....Very helpful......i rocked my exams....Thank you spark notes:)
@DEIMOSLOL haven't read this in awhile, but I'm guessing he's idealistic because he does stupid things because he things they're right (even though they're impractical). For example, he should've had Marc Antony executed on the spot, but he felt it would be wrong/ too violent to do so. As a result, Antony gets the people of Rome + a huge army and eventually defeats Brutus.
@coolguy701 this is supposed to be a summary/review not a substitute for the book. Y don't you actually do something good for you and read the book instead of listening to a 9 minute video
@ogorman8696 this book is sometimes hard to understand. the great gatsby scarlet letter and every other book on on this sparknotes page ive read man. except the shakespeare books. im ganna honestly say i sometimes dont have a clue what hes talking about. thats why i kinda admire Earnest Hemingway for his simplicity in writting.
wait, doesn't cassius ask his servant to stab him and then after that brutus kills himself? thats the way it is in the book, but this video says cassius kills himself, and then brutus has his servant kill him. its switched around
@amberdog1130 brutus kills himself he only has his soldier hold the sword while brutus runs into it. the picture shown in this video while describing it is disieving. Cassius is said to kill himself because he makes his slave kill him and then his slave will be free. they both kill themself
Excellent summary. I hope that you guys get video summaries like this one for all the books you summarize. The video helps to see the story unfold. very helpful
very well done, excellent summary

Ugh. I don't like this kind of stuff. You're supposed to read the (relatively very short) book. This barely explains anything.
