  • In This Clip, From 1:43 To 1:50, It Was KYW-TV's Channel 3 Video ID From October 1988.

  • In This Clip, From 0:03 To 0:13, It Was NBC-TV's Devil Worship: Exposing Satan's Underground Video Promo For Tuesday Night, October 25, 1988.

  • @coccioloneus

...before you laugh, have you actually SEEN his exposé of underground devil worship?! It's one of the most incisive, convincing pieces of reportage ever!

  • hey its my troop eccept rep

  • That guy did ALL the Pontiac commercials back then...

  • there's no Y in the Isuzu Trooper's pitchman's name.

  • @whattheheck1000 Noted & Corrected...Thanks.

  • "......power disk brakes, and guaranteed rust out in less than ten years, all standard!"

  • Ten Years??? Yeah, My friend has a 88 trooper, so 10 years??? i dont think so??? not even a little rust and its already 21!!!

  • also depends on where you live and how you take care of it. I guess if you wash it every other day. And live in the southwest. If you live in the rust belt it WILL rust out in 10 years. My uncle has a 1993 Trooper and the frame was rusted through in 2003.

  • Joe Isuzu!!!

    "Trust me" LOL

  • The interior of that "new and exciting" 1989 Pontiac Grand Am is disgusting and boring.

I'm so glad those days are gone. Cars were horrible in those days.

  • You have that right.

  • actually that car was a huge seller, pontiac was making cars people liked back then, unlike the crap they peddle now. I agree with u on the fact that cars were still mostly crap, and my brother had a 89 grand am that was a needing parts and a new engine right around 100,000 miles, they were throw away cars like saturn is now.

  • actually i miss the cars of those days hahah no nonsense stuff just u n the road

  • @at90percent It's called marketing.

  • @whattheheck1000 Yeah I know, but I wouldn't want to have to market that garbage and call it new and exciting when is blocky and plasticy (I know, not a word).

  • @at90percent it was new and exciting in 1989. today it sucks.

  • Wow, for some reason I always remembered Joe Isuzu as Steve Martin

  • Me too!!!!

  • from game 2 of the 1988 world series

  • There's Joe Isuzu!

  • LOL...I couldn't agree more. >:-D

  • I have observed that myself. They were anomalous that way.

  • Did they ever do a local version of the campaign?

  • From what I vaguely recall, they did. I'll have to dig around and see if I can find something to post.

  • Interesting how KYW used the "Come Home to the Best, Only on NBC" music, but not animation, in their ID.
