I was warned before hand by several people that alfas are notorious for their electrical faults but chose not to pay attention, within a matter of 2-3 months everything started going wrong! first one of the brake lights went out-fixed that but then the parking registration light stopped working-fixed that but THEN the lights inside the car boot failed! having them the cam-belt went!its just been problem after problem!

I STILL own a Alfa Romeo 147, 3.2 GTA, there is a top gear video on it somewhere,

Anyway I've owned golf GTis including the mk5, a mk4 r32, pug 206 GTi, the old Focus RS, Renaultsport Clio 04 and Megane 06 - just about any hot hatch on the Market before 2007, and I've sold them all APART FROM ....the Alfa because it's beautiful and sounds fantastic and NOTHING has ever gone wrong ! Ever ! Although it does 10k miles a year (2nd car) which is still it's share...
