Not mad, I prefer Mercedes their 90's models are rock solid and second to none in handling and luxury. I wouldn't own a Mercedes from 2000 - 2007 when they merged with Chrysler their quality went down the shitter. They are making a comeback, BMW has the edge right now. I would love to have a 1998 C43 amg

Also if you want to see how quick a C280 is, race it on the highway at around 70mph, I have smoked several Lexus from 70 to 115mph. 1998 w202 is one of the best engines ever built it is a V6 with 2 spark plugs per cylinder, equals smooth as hell. If you take care of engine you will get 500,000 plus miles out of it, what will you get from a BMW, a fukin headache

what bmw did you had if you are so mad? i own bmw ant its cheaper for me than a fiat. 6cyl engines from bmw are bulletproof and my friend has a c240 v6 and yes it has same reliability but... it had few brake downs and very small ones and i dont know what part was that but for freaking magnet he spent 200$ and on other little part hi changed he spent the same amount of money and suspension jobs costs more than mine. and reliability also depends on previous owner.

I have a 1998 Mercedes C280 Sport Black on Black and I have to say it is the most reliable car I have ever owned. Mercedes weren't not designed for speed they were built for longevity, class, and overall performance. So all you BMW speed douchebags let me ask you how many times your car has been in the shop. Own a BMW and you will spend a fortune in repairs

That 280 is probably an automatic, try a manual one.

@Bmwdonny Yup. But that is the largest engine with a manual. But it doesnt matter, if you manually shift the automatic gearbox from standstill, it is faster than the manual. Reason: Put it in D, and the car WILL start in secon gear, its a Mercedes featre of comfort, so when you want performance, you HAVE to gear down manually. Thats why 90% of Mercedes-video's on the net is "false". I have given 200-300 hp cars headache's with my 220E with "only" 150 horses, just because i can drive it properly!

@2URBO2 Lol dream on. If you put down the pedal and feel the click it will gear down with automatic but are still slow as hell. Dont think the manual one will be faster in drag but much more fun in turns.
