I never owned the game, but I borrowed it from a friend a long time ago. I don't fully remember the music and most of the melodies have this sort of eerie familiarity I can't quite put my finger on. Totally adds to the experience! It makes them feel like something I heard in a dream once or something! ^~^

The game wasnt bad, but the story was pure shit. They just mixed stuff from Z1,2+3 toghether and made it all a "dream" so they could evade contradictions in the other Zelda games.

@quamsta In your opinion... however, some of us who are a little older played the original version and grew to love that. Personally I think that since DX was just a remake with colour; it is not as true to the game as the normal Link's Awakening and loses that classic gameboy feel.

If you check the ending you'll see that they show some of the coloring.

Link's Awakening is close to being my favorite Zelda game (led only by Majora's Mask), and one of my all-time favorite games, period.
