Gratz Pendleton for winning 2A championships loved the show but that looks like the same exact show you did about 5 years ago. I march with Ashley Ridge
Thanks and not really. There were actually quite a few changes made with this clown show. Back in 2004, we marched a drumline, as well as trombones. Drill, visuals, solos, and percussion parts were almost completely new. Not to mention, it was a completely new group of kids. The only constants, actually, were the band's uniforms and the music arrangers. It's an entertaining show - there's so much to watch for. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I guess Ashley Ridge did Great for a first time marching band surprised we made it to state. I hope we have a good theme next year. "This is Halloween" was a great show though. Didn't Pendleton also win state with your other clown show.
Oh, yeah I saw that in the program and thought it was cool because state was actually on Halloween. I know Ashley Ridge was a split, but from what school?
And yes, we won state with Send in the Clowns in 2004.
Lol actually Ashley Ridge was a brand new school and didn't split. But if you mean split in different terms we had to many people going to Fort and Summerville high so they built Ashley Ridge. We are grades 9-11 right now. We have mostly people who have never marched in their lives lol. Do you have any footage of this years show? or do I have to wait and get the dvd lol? But i saw in your show 3 peoples bibber's fell off was that supposed to happen??
I have a video of state, but I don't know if I'm going to post it on youtube because my director gets all angry about people posting his shows because it's a copyright infringement.
Yeah... the pants falling down was not supposed to happen. We were in warm-up when Strom Thurmond was performing in that mini hurricane, and we got soaked. The elastic in our pants was already won out, and the water made the pants heavy. So, once they came down, they really had no choice but to kick them off.
Um.. were doing james bond this year and I think thats pretty challenging i dont think u should say our music isnt challenging if you've never seen it. My band's gonna rock ya'll at state.
haha i havnt either....but i really thought you guys should of won...or us...haha..definitely not batesburgg haha. Have you noticed that almost everyone in our class besides us yall and maybe silver blufff never has a challenging show i mean we are constantly moving while batesburg does 50000 park and barkss...hah
Considering this was at our exhibition and we were the only band there.... no, I don't.
However, if you mean from Pendleton's competition, I did not record any other bands, considering that bandlife was there to sell videos, and I was busy working. (However, I do wish I could've recorded B-L's performance).
