Classic rock folk, 1971! Love this, this is new-to-me, or so old it's new to me again, lol. What fantastic harmonies & a sound we rarely hear in music anymore, of course it is hard to do anything new if all the good stuff is already taken ;-)
I remember John Peel saying it cost a fortune to get the sound right for this recording. Their first single "His Guiding Hand" had been recorded on an old reel to reel tape machine in John Fidler's garage. Great to hear this.
This was the one that started the phenomenon that waas the Head. saw them live and loved their sound. Memories of gigs, girls and smokin' dope. great stuff.
