I used to work with photoshop before and it was a great program but this new version is 100 more then it was before the program is awesome and this drawing is truly talent

As one that doesn't draw on the computer, I'm curious. owo What's the purpose of the initial layer of blue you put down before you started coloring the individual parts?

to better see the fades lines or curwes whichever, because on white it's too bright and over time it gets in your eyes and is harder to concetrate on fades expecially
