God does not cause these things to happen, but sometimes, he allows tragedies to come onto our lives for a reason. Sometimes, it's when we're at rock bottom that we realize just how much we need him. He wants us to turn to him everytime. The world isn't an easy place to live in, but there IS a God who cares for you.

If you continue to grow spiritually i believe you'll achieve what you're searching for.And try to convince people to grow with you i know it's hard to convince people but as long as you do it for the Glory of the Lord no effort is lost because you Glorified him even if the group didn't believe you. This reminds me of my mom and I. My Mom cheated on my dad.. and she would always blame him...when he found out..she tried to do sucicide.. so her and my dad were done.. i was forced to live with her.. and i have noo idea where my dad is right now. My mom doesn't like anything that I do.. She even hates it when i go outside.. She even told me that she doesnt like me soo much that i should just leave.

@spj18 i thank God for my family and our faith in Jesus. I dont know where i would be right now without Jesus in my life. I'd probably end up suicide by now because of the death of my mother. I was in 4th grade when she passed and mothers day came around and it killed me. But Jesus gave me a vision of my mother worshipping Him in Heaven and exactly 2 nd half days later she passed away. I then accepted Jesus into my heart because he cared so much to tell me everything is going to be ok =)

@57msikora Remember that this is a world full of sin and imperfect. God has always given us free will, so people are going to do terrible things. God does not cause these things to happen, but sometimes, he allows tragedies to come onto our lives for a reason. Sometimes, it's when we're at rock bottom that we realize just how much we need him. He wants us to turn to him everytime. The world isn't an easy place to live in, but there IS a God who cares for you.

@57msikora you are probably getting annoyed by all these christians trying to convert you or whatever. but i struggled with this. i never had anything very bad happen in my life, but i think, without bad there can be no good. God isnt there going "hm... Im bored, lets kill a country" but he doesn't control EVERY aspect of life. i guess you have to view it in a big scheme. if everything was good, then there would be no bad. yes more bad things happen to some people, but i think its a coincidence.

Not looking for pity, just looking to be understood. My life is one big mess, everyone is telling me to be someone else, like my older sister or some one else. Telling me I can never do anything, that I'm always gonna screw up. I listen to this song over and over and I want everyone to know this song, I hate being depressed, I hate wanting to commit suicide because I wasn't good enough. I just want to live a happy life, and nothing seems to help

@HaleyChoi1 I have the same thing going on in my life. My stepmom disapproves of everything I do. I've had 3 poems published, she said it was all for money. I've won several art contest, she said I didn't have any real competition. My bf broke up with me, she said maybe it was my face. She hates the way I dress. Tries to make me a barbie. But she wont break me.

Hmm. kinda reminds me of my best friend. her name is Alyssa. She's abused verbally by her parents. And, they're poor, so they have to get a discount on school lunches since they can't afford to pack. But, once a year on their birthdays, they pack a lunch just to show that they at least care. But this year she didn't get a lunch, or anything on her birthday. It's sad cause that's all they look forward to on their birthdays. She isn't allowed to leave the house, not even to go to church.

From before I can remember til i turned 18 yrs old I was molested by my moms cousin that lived with us cause he had no where else to go. hes 40 something. I knew I was fat my mom told me all the time and I was far from popular. I figured I wasnt supposed to be loved if the only guy that had any interest was an old ugly pervert. I turned to the only place i thought i could be loved. the internet... did a lot of bad things i shouldnt have. No ones perfect but you can be forgiven

I have this friend in my life, he's not christian, but ive prayed for him and tried to get him to listen to me. We used to stay up all night long, he called me crying once. He was suicidal at one point, it killed me to have to try and help him through. Every day at school i would almost start crying because he was still there. We don't speak anymore and I've dedicated this song to him- still hoping he will turn to God one day and stop using drugs and drinking. I care about him and wish he knew

This song, unfortunately, reminds me of my father. He disowned me a few months ago and before that he cheated on my mom, lied about it and is /still/ lying about it when my siblings ask him about what he posts on facebook. He's now divorcing my mom and won't spend time with his kids and pretends to love me and treat me like any of the other kids when he's around people, but when he's alone, he hurts me so bad. Please pray for my family....thanks.

try to have a prayer time it doesn't have to be long just offer a moment to God, remember Jesus may be your redeemer and savior But He is also your friend. talk to him as you would talk with your close friend minus any bad words. Also read the bible for it is God's word. sometimes he'll tell you something through the bible

I understand about God and I believe and stuff and I am a Christian, but what I don't understand how to do is talk to him like he's someone I can see and hear and touch and respond to via email/text/facebook/comments, etc. If that makes sense...

If you continue to grow spiritually i believe you'll achieve what you're searching for.And try to convince people to grow with you i know it's hard to convince people but as long as you do it for the Glory of the Lord no effort is lost because you Glorified him even if the group didn't believe you. Try to be as biblical because if you use your own perspective evil might play its tricks. God Bless

This reminds me of my mom and I. My Mom cheated on my dad.. and she would always blame him...when he found out..she tried to do sucicide.. so her and my dad were done.. i was forced to live with her.. and i have noo idea where my dad is right now. My mom doesn't like anything that I do.. She even hates it when i go outside.. She even told me that she doesnt like me soo much that i should just leave.

This reminds me of me and my mother because even though my parents are together still, we have fought so much in my life. Ive always tried to be nicer and patient, but it never seems to work and she gets mad at me. somehow ive convinced myself whenever she is mad it is my fault and now im afraid to ask people things because i think they will yell at me and i feel really guilty for every little thing I do wrong. One night my dad even left the house then came back and stayed in the living room.

Always remember, people you don't know, love you, people that do, probably have a tough time showing it. God is always with you, and if it helps, me too. And it's never your fault that she's mad at you. We all are here for you. Trust God. Ask Him anything, He WILL help you. It may take time though, it may take 2 seconds, who knows.

I'm so thankful that I don't have to face this problem with my Dad. My dad is awesome even though he was basically a single parent for most of my childhood becuase my mom was stuck in the hosiptal and couldnt provide for me. =/ it's no ones fault but i wish my mother was able to be with me. @spj18 i thank God for my family and our faith in Jesus. I dont know where i would be right now without Jesus in my life. I'd probably end up suicide by now because of the death of my mother. I was in 4th grade when she passed and mothers day came around and it killed me. But Jesus gave me a vision of my mother worshipping Him in Heaven and exactly 2 nd half days later she passed away. I then accepted Jesus into my heart because he cared so much to tell me everything is going to be ok =)

@HaleyChoi1 trust me, I know the feeling. every instrument i ever tried, i got the same treatment from my mom. now i play trombone, which is something i do with my dad, and since my parents are divorced, my mom doesnt like it that i have something that i do JUST with dad. i know what it feels like, and trust me: we're praying.
