I saw Zhane in concert back in '94 at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. They were supporting Salt N Pepa at the time. I remember one of the songs that they performed was this one. When I finally bought a used copy of the album "Pronounced Jah-Nay" several years later I still remembered the chorus: "You're sorry now.... come with something better." Great song. I met Renee in '09 at a Michael Jackson tribute show & she signed the CD for me, along with the 2nd CD which I also brought along with me.

This truly music at its best. This was from a time when all genres/sub genres black music could co-exist. No one genre overshadowed the other. Zhane' was just as likely as MC Hammer to have a hit. Gladys Knight was just as likely to have a hit as Snoop Dogg. These were the golden days of music. I miss Zhane' terribly. They were a dynamic duo.

@KishiNCamile yeah girl! This was the final single from that album...which was full of potential singles! It didn't do very well, but it was still a great song from a great album. Too bad they aren't around anymore, they are so talented. I just wish we had more music like this these days.

Zhane' were the epitome of coolness , beauty and blackness. Between them, Digable Planets, Terri & Monica, Mary j. and a Tribe Called Quest, the 90's was indeed a renaissance for black music. As a duo, I miss them terribly. But I look forward to hearing more from them in their solo careers as well as the success that they are very much deserving of.
