Ew, what happened? Me being a fan of her old music, I hate this. It sounds like My Immortal and another old one mixed together and autotuned. The instrumental isn't epic. Her voice is nowhere near the same. Honestly, I am disappointed, I expected better from Evanescence. I'm going to go listen to the old stuff and pretend like I've never heard this. I've heard much worse music, but for Evanescence it's definitely degraded, and a huge disappointment.

@mari11anna I absolutely LOVE Evanescence and what's funny is, my dad was even listening to them live the other night and I told him that I loved how they not only sounded good on cd's/internet/etc. but they also sound good live! Which is amazing and rare now days. He said, "You know why that is?" and I said, "why?" and He said, "Because they are REAL musicians!!!" and he continued banging his head to the rest of the song that was playing :D
@DNFinalFantasy Obviously her voice is going to sound the same as when she was 20 years old. Fallen came out in 2003 which was eight years ago. Amy is almost a decade older now and like all normal human beings, her voice has matured and changed with age. It doesnt mean it's not as powerful as it used to be. I still think it sounds amazingly strong.

@elvenvampire12 ... ever since it came out, i actually thought "what you want" was about their whole controversy. if you read the lyrics, it sounds like she's talking about the battle to separate evanescence from that drama and telling ben moody to shove it.... "remember me? i'm everything you can't control" :)

@sweetnspaz I love her whole album I bought it right away when I knew it was out. All of it is great but, towards the ending of What you want kind of sounds like Spice girls a little bit.. I don't know I could be wrong... But her stuff has always been good no matter what!

Thias stuff is cool, but Amy Lee has such a good voice and the way she sings this chorus is so good. The rest of the songs here and there just aren't to my liking. If there was some good clean hard rock behind her voice, it would own.
