@CTrace Michael clayton defender of the society ? come on ....I think a lot of people miss an extremely important point : michael clayton SOLD OUT arthur for 80 grands and solving his own problems . He had the memo by this point , he had his doubts . It s only because of the failed bombing that he reopened the case , only because they pushed him and made it personal . If tilda swinton character hadn t been so desperate and amateur at this , it would have been swept under the carpet .
@CTrace I think you mean Arthur Edens because it was really him that was trying to bring down U-North throughout the entire movie. Michael just finished the job, which he only did after he found the red documents and after they bombed his car.
@olivemike81 that is the crux of the whole movie because the main character developing is what this movie, more than in many other movies, is about. It really would not be such a great movie were it not for Clooney and that great Brit. The acting makes it great, really, because although Hollywood attacking Corporate America is a good thing, it gets tiresome sometimes.
Finally watched this film...it's a WINNER!

Sad that it looked like Arthur was getting back on track right before he was killed.
Also scary because I'm sure this stuff goes on all the time and we don't even hear about it.

@TheHockeyCentral Christ just look up Monsanto, I'm pretty sure they based a lot of things on it.
