At first I was skeptical. Another one of those videos where somebody is coaching the kid verbatim to sound like a rock band, which is unfortunately become part of the video game "rock band" culture. But at about 2:30, I noticed the kid was adapting to what he felt in the music, and from there it was HIS interpretation of the song. Notice how he ad libs his own style after that.....And that is how great drummers are made. You got a great future ahead of you Josh, keep it up!

I know he's just a kid but he did the four main patterns completely different and wrong plus Steve Smith played it opened which is using your left hand for the top hat, he played it crossed.
