  • very very cute!

Sometimes I take some soil from the garden...with rainworms---they like to eat them.

  • Man, I am not even gonna try to convert that to american dollars...LOL!

I filled a plastic box about as big as the one you are using, and bought a bunch of shiny kids' party toys to bury in the rice for them to steal and horde, and did it all for about $15.00 American. For me, the price was worth not having to clean up.

To each his own, however. My ferrets LOVED to dig, and would paw at the box when the lid was on! You ever feed yours baby mice?

  • well, this works fine so far, and most of the time I'll take them for a walk anyway, let them vent their digging needs on other people's front yard xD

I tried feeding them 2 living mice today, and though they did kill them quite fast, they displayed no wish what so ever of eating them :/

  • Man, I let mine dig in a box of dry white rice!!!

    Far less mess....

  • I beleive it's far less messier, but I think also more expensive. 1 bag of soil is like 2€, it would be 20-30€ for the same amount of rice, and the mess isn't that bad imo :)
