  • i fucked up but im sure it ruins the cable aswell

  • Video should be renamed: The easiest way to destroy your headphones!

  • that's the knot pearl stringers have been using for centuries.

  • thet's the knot perl stringers have been using for centuries.

  • Check out a way to wrap/unwrap your headphones at cablebone . com.

  • I'd try to find one of those wind-up earbud cases and use that, instead.

  • I wouldn't do this...

  • actually this is the knot that used for hanging people, THE KNOT OF DEATH o.0

  • Is it me, or is this essentially a noose?

If so, this is the most bad-ass method of organizing I've ever seen in my life, and this guy deserves a medal for applying it.

  • Terrible idea.

  • Great idea, will have to use this in future. And to the bitches whining about cable damage - earphones are cheap and shitty, you an afford to shorten their life a little bit... Don't buy expensive earphones, get expensive headphones and keep them at home etc, keep cheap shitty earphones for when you're out on the move.

  • Fucking broke my leg doing this

  • So it's basically like whipping the end of a rope.

  • fucking horrible.

  • thanks for sharing good ideas....

  • tio, tu mandas

  • does anybody now.. which one is better..

    Transcend T320 or philips gogear mp3 (SA1MXX02)..?

    please reply me..=)

  • this is also how u ruin ur earphones (:

  • @ItsPong

for the record. I lost that earphones before anything bad happened to it.

  • @woosh3 this will slowly damage the wires, and reduce sound quality.

  • This is a great method for ruining the $60 dollar ipod ear buds lol. Electrical wires are not made to be pulled/folded like when it goes through the loop.

  • And what supossed to be that ?

  • Visit my channel for reviews ;)

    Thanks :)

  • awesome!

  • As opposed to simply wrapping the cord around your mp3 player and tucking the earbuds into the loop between the 3.5mm output and the first swirl of the cable or having just the earbuds hanging out of your pocket with the cable wrapped around your mp3 player.

Yep, that seems simple and necessary enough

  • just wrapping it like that damages the cable. This video shows a good way of doing it.

  • This is actually pretty smart. It reduces stress on the end cord ends (the bud connection and PM3 connection and whatnot). It DOES put a little more strain on the cord itself, but if THAT part of the cord cant handle it, then what part can?

  • DAAAAAYAAAAAM!!!!! Who ever made this has like an IQ of like 5000pts, a HUMONGOUS dick and a firm mastery of fear.

This guy is obviously THE SHIT!!!!!

  • Lol, is that a compliment or diss?..

  • Inside joke between me and the author.

    Smart guy, truth be told.

  • lol dadurch gehen die kopfhörer voll schnell kaputt wenn man das so 10 mal gemacht hat also würd ichs nicht machen

  • That is hella crafty.

  • So what's the point? Traveling a lot without using ur mp3 player, working at mp3 player assembly line or what?

  • those apple headphones suck

  • any knots involved with headphone is a bad idea IMO you just put stress to ware and tear, it;s still a job well done thou

  • sweet

  • jajajjajaja XD

    que longi !!!

apuesto que no le duraron mas de una semana los audifonos xD

  • lol not everyone who owns headphones buy skullcandy because not everyone poses as punk skater boys and girls.

  • how much is that ipod? please tell me

  • it's a 1 generation iPod Shuffle, now they have the 3rd one, it's about 70 dollars the 1st one you can find at ebay.

  • You should really wind the cord a LOT tighter. It makes the music sound better.

  • yea very handy if you want a cable brake

  • tasty

  • That was actually pretty nice, good for traveling! xD

  • well then buy some cheaper ones

  • fuck you why do you even have 60 doller headphones and if your complaing about loosing that much money why are you complaing

  • No.. It's just that I would rather not fuck up a pair of $200 Grados.

    IDIOT.

  • Oh I certainly can... I have $2000 in the bank at this very moment.

So go suck a dick. :)

  • have fun with that money :) id save it tho, intrests u know

  • that's it?

  • @NoTaTtHiScHoOl

Yeah, I'm not big on saving ;).

  • ohhh well done, your mum and dad must be very impressed

  • Who the fuck is going to buy $60 headphones?!?

    You're the fucking prick.

  • plenty of people i paid £200 for a pair of headphones it all depends how much you enjoy music

  • ummmmm me!

  • Thanksssssssssssss~

  • yo, datz hella baller.

  • I agree

  • hmm pretty cool

  • This is the same basic form to make a hangman's knot.

  • Yeah, I was thinking that, too. Nice to see that knot seeing some use other than the traditional one. ;)

  • Better than taking 3 1/2 minutes untangling it.

  • @hbah427 very true

  • cooool

  • your headphones will be damaged very fast

  • Hola, muy bueno!! besos de Argentina

  • He has fat fingers...

  • Wow...um..no comment..

  • wow thanks

  • your a retard i broke my headphone trying to do that

  • thats your fault for doing it

  • dude tahst awesome keep it up bro.

  • you made a noose around your mp3 player! racist! not really man. can't believe you gotta show people how to put an mp3 player away.

  • U CANT DO IT. i really need to know how because i have no place for my head fones

  • lol i got exact same ipod

  • Actually that looks similiar to a scout knot.

  • cool

  • nice

  • Excellent setup, thank you !

  • dude that was very helpfull, i usually wrap the earphones around my shuffle and eventually the earphones fall out and it annoying.

thank you again, thank you so much.

  • is that the gay ipod shuffle

  • u can have SO much fun ... with me i

  • thats a pretty smart setup

  • Mp3's suck.....aac is the way to go

  • Thank you. Simple and I know this will save me about 2 minutes of de-tagulation every day

  • thats the same way you whip rope

  • its a cool knot, but if you end up with a bust earphone cable its your fault

  • Thats bad for the cable but it still kinda cool

  • Great idea, but your headphone cable wouldn't last long winding it tight like that.

    Clever though, well done

  • its an ipod

  • pretty sweet dude. ill use that tip.

  • Thats not an MP3 player...its an ipod shuffle.

  • it is an mp3 player.just because it doesnt have a screen doesnt mean it isnt

  • *facepalm*

cool trick, i've been doing this to mine now.

  • It still plays MP3's so its a MP3 PLAYER.

  • That is possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

  • yeah dont forget there's actuall wire inside so if you tie it in a knot it will snap and you'll have to buy some new ones, bad idea

  • ok firstly tieing up your wires like that is a sure way to damage them. When you need new headphones you will know why. Second mp3 players are useless when you can use most modern mobile (cell) phones as an mp3 player. Just something extra for you to carry is this.

  • well phones cant hold that much memory

its only for people who dont know a lot of songs

  • mp3's are useless? O_o.. I'm glad that's only an opinion xD.

  • mobile phones can have alot of song in a memory card, if its full, just switch memory card

  • ya but with mp3 you dont have to

but i guess if you want to switch eact time

  • I hope that works on the little ipod shuffle but if it does thanks for the tip...

  • sprintcuts mate

  • thats a usefull knot in pioneering aswell

  • I don't even listen to MP3 players with headphones. Because I usually use them as a stereo system jury rigging solution as radio has played crummier songs in recent years.

I don't just think of MP3 players as lightweight, portable solutions to other portable audio devices, I think of them as a lightweight device to randomize personal libraries with.

Just say NO to radio, and say YES to MP3 players.

  • you have ocd ¬.¬ pretty cool knot like

  • nice

  • wow cool thanks for the tip :) plz view my vids THNX

  • thats almost like making a noose

  • IS THAT AN IPOD??

  • dur one of the first ones

  • awesome..danke!

  • danke

  • lol, basically a hangman's knot for an mp3 player

  • I don't reccomend doing these knots too tight, I used to have very expensive and high quality headphones (About a hundred dollars) and I would do knots like these, one day, my wires wore out and didn't work anymore.

  • when you make this about hundret times your earbuds get damaged.. i mean the cable of the headphones get damaged.. thats it and therefor you can use wireless headsets also as a mobilphone headset.. =D

  • it's nice idea, i tried it with my Sansa Express and it worked.

  • thats so cool.

shame im a bit late to watch this.

my headphones are already broken :(

the white outside thingy split and then the cords were hanging out. it kept working for a while but they're broken now. :(

    xo.

  • the only thing i don't like about the shuffle is that there is no screen

  • I'm a much more organized person now, woosh

    *bow*

  • Not even that it hurts the cables, just the fact that now your cords are twisted as fuck it's a bad idea.

  • this video is cool!!.Is the best video i have seen in my life!!lol.Zomg!Ftw.☺

  • This is just a way of screwing up your headphones on purpose.

  • i got wireless headphones ^^

  • what...theres such thing

  • For a second there, I thought you typed "earphones" instead or headphones.

  • just a curious question. what happens if they fall out your ear and you loose them. thats the bad thing about wirless 1s. there so tiny u cud loose them easily.

  • haha you got the suffle

  • I was wondering what it was. Looks quite nice but I havn't heard of the Suffle until now.

  • looks handy, but I'd hate to ruin the cables.

  • They need to do way instain mother.

  • how to destroy an earphone cord :p

  • that's very very interesting

  • i am kitten

  • um, very random

  • therefore funny. i lol'd :)

  • Amen to that!

  • Resultatet blir väldigt snabbt GLAPP!

  • an excellent and quick way to wreck your headphone cable.

  • audio cables aren't meant to be wrapped this tight. You'll damage them.

  • 5/5

  • nice, i like it. i always get mine tangled in my pocket when not in use, this will be very handy.

  • Smart :) !

  • That also kills the cables... fast. D'oh.

I take care of my IEM's better-- I just wear them all the time under mah clothes ^.^

Even if I take my 24gb Cowon D2 off of me, I just unplug the phones and leave em on.

  • no time... too lazy.

  • GENIUS!!! So THATS how you stop them getting tangled! Ill try that asap.

  • this guy is a genius in real life!!!

  • hahaha good one ;)

    ]

  • pretty good knotting there

  • cool vid man!!

  • actually the best way to get rid of them is to throw them in a blendtec blender and put it on "ice crush!"

  • LMAO!

  • AWESOME 5/5

  • i mean..

    UH...IT DOESNT workk for me...

because i dont have a looong ipod like tht!

  • you dont need a long ipod. just overlap some of the binding rings

  • uuuh...it DOESNT

  • mhm. ya im gonna do that every single time i wanna put my ipod away. ya right buddy!

  • fresh pinesent is stupid how are you comparing a 1g shuffle with the zune dude the knot thing is cool tho

  • I like!
