You can't get better results than actually doing it by hand in a good editor. It's possible to get it seamless if you get down to the nit and grit pixel level. I just tried one morphing program and it's terrible. Regarding this vid, the results are impressive for a few minutes of work. Nice work.

Fantamorph is for grannies who cant use 3DS or MRay. Maya even? Sorry you wasted 5 minutes learning Fantamorph, I think I'll pass on the coaching, pal. If you want to merge... PS or FW will do a far better job, but only if you have skills. If you've got a stump for a hand, go for the Fantamorph.

You dont. You can always make the image smaller, but going larger will result in pixilation. If you must make it larger, go in small increments at a time. About 10% each time. This will help.

Sounds like one of your images may be a gif. Click on Image > Mode > and change to RGB Color. Now drag.

Wow...can't fool you! Merge the layers - now the "overlay" is gone. I suppose you could make an anti-morph argument out of this as well. Call it what you will.

That's not what I meant. A true morph warps the shape of face 1 to the shape of face 2, and a second of face 2 bent to match the shape of face 1, and then they are overlaid at 50/50 opacity. What you are doing is merely overlaying features without adapting their shape.
