Pierre did not ruin the call, he makes a great point about Tavares. He was right, and, he waited a couple of seconds before saying anything like any good broadcaster would do. He is the smartest man in pro sports, believe it.

Canada is reeling over the game saving goal and he instead rambles on about Tavares's magical play? That coulda waited until post-game analysis, Eberle got the goal. Plus saying "I can believe it and blah blah blah" ruined the excitement Gord Miller built up

Why do you think he's the number one sought after colour commentator in both the states and Canada for hockey? Not just a coincidence that NBC AND TSN use him for all major hockey events. I never said Pierre don't know jack shit about hockey, just that he's probably not the best guy to be doing play-by-play because he's awkward and says some of the most retarded shit sometimes. He's a great analyist but should leave the play-by-play to Gord Miller. Because no one really wanted to hear about "Tavares's magical play", no matter how nice it was
