  • Test your HHO machine if effective or NOT. Park the car, start engine to normal temperature, run to 1500 rpm and hold it there by using tools or wedges. Turn ON your favorite HHO machine. Check the RPM goes up to 1600 or more, it is GOOD. If RPM goes down or the same, your HHO machine is ineffective, useless, and waste of time, effort and money. Any seller will pass this test, BUY their HHO machine. (Forget the driving around wasting more gas, or read On Board Computer Instant MPG).

  • @runt0r I'm sorry, but I'm not a car historian and so don't know, and you didn't mention the car's country of origin which could be a huge factor in whether or not that car was fitted with sensors, ABS, Pre-tension seat-belts, airbags, CD player, Air-con and so on...

  • great video! how are the vehicles running?

  • @urbex2007 There are a few ways to over come the ECU wanting to dump more fuel into the injectors when this HHO is added. The sensible way and the most expensive is to buy and fit an EFIE in the wiring near the air flow sensor on your exhaust. Another is to re-map your computer's ECU chip (ppl usually do this on sports cars to make them faster!) But the cheapest and oddest way is to put foil or such over the air sensor in the exhaust part so it doesn't read more oxy won't add more fuel. ok?

  • @Itsmeeman1 hi, is it true that cars manufactured before 1996 have no sensors?

  • No need to pause this video, you can sleep and not miss a thing it goes so slow. Come on This is the USA. People can't stay focused that long. Liven it up a lot.

  • How are you telling the car ECU to inject less petrol or diesel as more hydrogen is injected? Without that you will use exactly the same amount, or more when you take in to account the huge electrical load on the alternator. This is why it appears to be a con to most people. Extra load on the engine=higher fuel consumption and less power.

  • Where can I get a good flash arester?

  • your 97 ford ranger is carbureted????

  • From what I understand the added H2 does not have to be a lot, say 0.5 liters per minute should work fine. You are not replacing the fuel, you are causing it to burn more efficiently. By installing a EFIE you can add .2Volts to the O2 Sensor which will tell the ECU it's not running too lean, that way less fuel is used and the combustion overall is more efficent. Have your emissions checked before and after to learn what is really happening. You have the best videos on H2on the net!

  • in addition to the SAFETY,... can we get a positive line control by the ignition switch so that even you forgot to switch off the cell , when you stop the engine ,authomaticaly the cell stop running HHO....

  • Can you explain how you are telling the ECU to adjust fuelling in proportion to hydrogen injection please? Any wiring diagram or computer details for that?

Unless you do that the system is pointless as you still inject the same amount of petrol/diesel. All you are doing is drawing a huge amount of power from the alternator, slowing the engine and causing more fuel to be used. It will also be slower. It seems you are gullible or have been conned by others who are selling kits to the public.

  • Steve, I like that your videos are simple and easy to understand. Thanks for the GREAT power point diagrams.

  • Ok, let's look at reality on this a bit closer. The actual cost to do it. The needed per gallon gain/cost to recapture expenses of the project. The actual fuel efficientcy loss for the drag on the alternator to operate this device VS gains that ARE measurable and fuel efficiency gains (offsets). The time in practicality to recapture any real efficiency gains realized. 1 yr, 5, 10? How many miles needed to drive to obtain any real overall profitable gains in efficiency etc.

  • Thanks, Steve - an old video but just what I needed. I just received my HHO kit but don't have a PWM ordered yet. For the EFIE, I've ordered a chip that plugs directly to the back of the OBDII and adjusts automatically instead.

  • My ranger is 98 and is fuel injection how you do the one????

  • The 30 amp fuse should be inline with the positive cable, not going to the ground, don't you think.

Interesting video, hope it works fine, got the feeling the efie will be needed.

  • I definately enjoyed the video and learned from it. I am still learning so "I know I don't know" but, why is the power coming straight from the battery positive and not from some circuit that would only be energized when the car is running? Would it not be dangerous to have the cell producing gas without the car running to burn it off?

  • Thank you for simplifying!

  • And do you guys realise that this gets allmost all energy back even in car engine.

This IS the safe Electricity based fuel that can be produced without fosil fuels.

This is the case that we have been waiting for.

We must demand tha rigth to produse our own safe fuel for our own cars at home.

We demand this now or it will be too late as no car manufacturers anymore exist and all the research money has dissapeared!!!

  • Do you guys realise this si the safe way to fuel your car.

  • do you guys realize that you will always get back less energy than it takes to make the hydrogen?

  • @proaudiohd I don't think they do! People are being conned like mad with the promise of more MPG. They don't realise that exactly the same amount of petrol/diesel is being injected and nothing is telling the ECU to inject less fuel in proportion to more gas being used. There isn't enough gas produced to power the car. All it does is create a load on the alternator, slow the car so you have to accelerate harder - which uses MORE fuel than without the generator. Waste of time using it.

  • also, water (to be found in larger amounts due to HHO) can mess with your catalytic converter so be advised....................same issues with water injection

  • hho won't give you economy unless you 'tune' the spark timing - also, don't forget hydrogen and untreated metals don't mix and can cause it to split, so use with caution and be ready for damage if you should be so unlucky...............

  • Thanks for the info.

  • what is a bubbler, arrester, and a pwm and are they absolutely necessary???

  • I'm a Engineer with alot of "theory" from college in my head but not alot of hands on experience. I am adding a HHO wet cell to my car and just wanted you to know I find your videos VERY helpful and easy to understand. Thank you for taking the time to post them.

  • um just a couple of things. First the 30 fuse DOES NOT get grounded. this will cause an immediate short and blow the fuse. Second as posted, amps make the gas. Your pwm will help regulate the amps as the unit heats up,so as not to kill your alternator.I love your common sense approach to making these videos and really clears things up for the new people. Love the disclaimers! keep up the good work

  • I have a 91 F-Ranger, 6cyl, just got a MAF and O2 Enhabncer I will be installing soon. I Have found two "open vacuum" ports in the back of my manifold(?) (check your chiltons, or just follow some lines (ie; from the brake drum, as an example, should go right to an intake port), I am wondering if that will be to close? The pressure/vac has been tested and is at optimal at that intake. Also, I would put a 30-40amp inline fuse between your CELL and PWM/Switch/etc.. just my 2cents.

    Good vids!

  • are you making a bomb?at 9:57 ther's beeping in the background lol nice video help me out but i'm making one for a lawn mower 5/5

  • Very nice instructions. The one thing i have been thinking about is the system is supposed to be On-demand, so for example, If you are producing 1 lt per minute, why would you need that just sitting and idling? I have thought about putting in a pot or some other electronics to help regulate the hho cell output, maybe something hooked to the throttle body? And i have trying to figure out what produces more hho, amps or volts? I do know that the more amps = more heat...

  • I have thot about the same thing - a system that increases the hho output when the rpms go up.

Thanks for the compliments, but I have a lot to learn.

  • some pwms have them on board, you connect to the throttle sensor and it regulates demand, but for it to be effective you need to build a true series cell, to be able to supply the large amounts of hydroxy needed on demand, which im sure you will be building soon?.

  • wow that would neat to say the least - its past my knowledge, but maybe someday.

As for building a larger cell, I am looking at doing a dry cell. Not sure when as I am still doing reading on them. However I do like the dry cells deadpool & ebn has.

  • you may also try a pressure controlled setup, set it to cut off at a set pressure and the system will only run when pressure drops below threshold. then as not needed like when engine is at idle the system will shut off. simpler to make and control than trying to make a variable output module.

  • @danburford58 by series cell, are you talking the clamshell which may have as many as 6 or 7 HHO cells hooked up in series?

  • Hi robert, amps produce more hydroxy, volts make heat.

  • BTW I am working on a new, duel bubbler idea; well see what happens with that.

    ;)

  • cont..If you have a back fire, you will also ignite your hydroxy hose , if connected at the carb. the hydroxy line connected just before the filter, will be safer and reach your engine faster anyway.

  • I have been thinking about using two bubblers then run tubing, then a flash arrestor just before the hydroxy input location. That way no worries of back fires, damage to the tubing or the cell.

Not sure of relocating hydroxy before the filter - will try both and see what happens.

  • Don't buy a flash arrestor, they do not work with hydroxy, the flame is to quick, you need to make one your self, then you have to test it etc, two bubblers on their own is fine.

Your carb is about 300mm away from the manifold inlets which is to close to evenly mix with the air, its like not stiring your coffee properly. check your spark plugs after a while for variances in carbon deposits, this will tell of a sign of uneven mix.

  • Ah now I see what your saying about the hydroxy input location. That makes sense, and I wouldnt have to use so much tubing.

    Thanks

    :)

  • Btw Dan, if a flash arrestor does not work, then why does the arrestor in the video entitled "HHO Hydrogen / Hydroxy Arrestor / Flashback Arrester" work so well?

    Just curious

  • A good designed flash back bubbler will work every time, a flashback arrestor wil not, put it in line, but dont rely on it. Use two bubblers as well

  • yep, gotta be safe.

    :)

  • If you do not put two bubblers in line your engine will eat KOH, guarranteed. when the Hydroxy bubbles rise to the surface in your gen, they each have a skin of lyle on them which bursts out with the hydroxy, the hotter the worse.

Put your Hydroxy line in before your filter, not at the carb, if you put it at the carb it will be diegested unmixed, resulting in uneven combustion.

  • I really enjoy your 'new guy' approach at presenting this HHO stuff.

  • Me too.

    ;)

  • Steve, perhaps the amount of wire can be reduced if you can find good chassis grounds near your devices rather than running all that negative wire? Also, I was wondering if your 97 actually has a carb, or if it's fuel injection system.

Otherwise ... great stuff! Thanks for posting your progress.

  • I never thot of that, using more chassis ground - not sure how that would work with the amp and volt meter. That is something to think about.

As for the carb/fuel injection I think it is fuel injected. Hopefully that wont cause any problems. Well see.

    Thanks for stopping by.

  • Great stuff almosthydro - very good simple explanations. Keep us posted!

  • your welcome - I like the simple stuff too.
