I used the Big Easy this Christmas, and like you, I was cooking a 16 lb bird....it took me about 3 hours to cook....I would alternate putting the lid on for about 8 minutes each half hour...I injected my turkey....it was quite tasty...even cold the next day.
I was cooking in a rather windy enviroment, with a temp of about 38 degrees.....I think that takes a little bit longer to cook when the weather is like that.
Bossman do you know if you can fry breaded mushrooms or fried fish in here? Thinking about buying one but need to know if this has been done before. Thank you.
Have you ever done just a turkey breast and if so about how long?

I have never tried frying breaded items before, but I have done catfish, chicken and hot wings with great success!
