  • does anyone think this guy will ever be caught, or if he's dead we'll find out who he was? anyone

  • @codeman95291

no he has never been caught

he raped and killed when DNA was not available

i have no idea how he got away with killing and raping that much

  • i think this guy is dead now.. if he's alive he probably stopped killing like some of the other serial killers did as they got older.. i personally think the guy was in the military because of that diamond knot.. or he could've been a cop because he's avoided being detected to this day so if he was a cop or is a cop he would have knowledge of how law enforcement tries to apprehend criminals and that would help him avoid being detected

  • The absolute worst serial killers on San Quentin's Death Row is Richard Ramirez aka the Nightstalker (14 Murders), Charles Ng (12 Murders) and Randy Kraft aka the Scoreboard Killer (68 Murders). These men have NOT been executed and this is a shame to the state of California and to the Californian people. I say it is high time to execute these bastards and let them join William Bonin aka the Free Way Killer (22 Murders) in HELL. California must execute all of it's death row inmates ASAP.

  • @RoyalistCavalier Why are they still alive if its "death row"?

  • Why are some people who've been in Death Row for over 20 years like Ramon Salcido, Marcus Wesson, and Richard Ramirez haven't been DEAD yet?

  • @CynnDiva2010 The one that baffles me is Lawrence Bittaker. He's been on death row since 1981. Kill that scumbag already.

  • @CynnDiva2010 Wesson hasn't been on death row for even 10 years, BTW.

  • @SpahnRanch1969 Yeah, but he and other criminals who are convicted and sent to life or death in prison should just die already. Leave room for the new inmates. And I just looked up Bittaker. He and Roy Norris were sick bastards. They're where they belong.

  • @CynnDiva2010 You got that half right. Norris is where he belongs: he rolled over on Bittaker, and got life. Bittaker got the death penalty. He belongs in the Potter's Field behind San Quentin, buried in a box.

  • What other species would produce some thing like this? Exactly what God is man made in the image of? Seems to me that the white shepard with a missing toe should be a great clue.

Anyway, when cops kill they get a paid vacation [called administrative leave].

  • Wow. They got Batman to narrate this.

  • A cop suggested that maybe he commited a burglary in the lat eighties and the homeowner killed him, thats how he vanished.he doesnt seem the type that would just stop,he would have to have been killed, died or spending life in prison.

  • @briffyboy1 I heard that he made one last phone call to a surviving victim in 1990 or 91

  • @AliceNchainz011 yes you can hear it on here or on the ons website.its creepy as hell, gonna kill you gonna killllll you.........bitch,bitch,fucking whore im coming back i watch you every day!

  • @briffyboy1 he was a cop.

  • @jimpurdie i completly agree its a cop

  • Comment removed

  • @jimpurdie What do you base yourself on?

  • could you please upload THS Investigates Dating Nightmares?

  • @1001thewoodsman This guy is not like BTK. BTK took a ton of time researching his crimes, this guy went on sprees with minimal planning. This guy definitely started out as a burglar - BTK did not. This guy was a criminal from a young age not an "everyman" front like BTK. This guy always raped once he became violent - BTK did not. This guy when he killed bludgeoned his victims - BTK did not. This guy changed MO's - BTK did not. This guy was prolific - BTK was not. This is guy has not been caught.

  • @GrendelDaze No he has never been caught, over 5o women raped, and 10 people murdered.Unbelievable and scary. This is one of the deadliest and wildest unsolved crime cases ever. This case is a nightmare.

  • @MrTops2100 Scariest thing about this case is that it is pretty unknown to the public. I mean, the zodiac is a priest compared to this guy, they should switch places in media attention.

  • @andreh4eva If it wasn't murder, it didn't get reported. That's ashame. Because he eventually went on to kill 10 people.

  • @xaqshuna2003 He also committed 2 murders as the east area rapist, so that make 12 murders afterall.

  • @andreh4eva I stand corrected. You're right, the couple he chased and shot a women in one back yard and one in the other, ran through the front yard and took off. He was pretty brazen.

  • @andreh4eva are there any suspects? At least Zodiac youhave suspects. This is one sick monster. I wonder if he is still alive. If he was he'd probably still be doing it- unless he's locked up.

  • @ar4216 To date, every investigated suspect has been cleared. It is unlikely that he just stopped, though it is known that killers with his profile (intelligent and methodical) can run a low profile for decades before striking back. Anything could have happened, he could have died in car accident, moved from country or maybe just running a low profile. He is surely a smart person, he may be a lawyer or an engineer, who knows.

  • @andreh4eva It blows my mind how many crimes he committed and got away with. Do you think at this point he will be caught? I'd like to think he will be. Maybe he's gotten older and settled down- still a creep of course but not as compelled to act on his depraved urges?

  • @ar4216 I think he will never be caught. I personally think he is dead, but I wouldn't bet on this also. He is probably someone above any suspicion, just like BTK. The BTK (Dennis Rader) was a high rank member of the local church, noone would ever suspect he was a serial killer. He also stayed almost 20 years without killing, proving this killers can indeed stop for quite some time.

  • @andreh4eva Do you have your own profile of what you think he might be like? Do you think he is alive or dead? Someone out there knows this guy and knows what he did. Or at least suspects him.

  • @GrendelDaze @1001thewoodsman Stating the obvious but scary nonetheless, evil AND intellingent is a deadly combination. They can likely go longer before making a mistake and getting caught. Cases like BTK, is that Dennis Rader blended in so naturally appearance-wise with everybody (precisely the point, and their "guard from being discovered").

  • this is a very informative documentary, but i wish they would catch him who ever he is if he is still alive that is or maybe he is just really old.

  • Bengerts is there any way you could please upload THS Investigates kidnapping?

  • @thtktgrl hi. i'm sorry but i don't have them.

  • This guy is worse than Zodiac in my opinion.

  • @mark85la11

Why do you even compare him to the zodiac killer? He is much worse than zodiac. He killed more than 50 persons.

  • @idum01

Actually, he committed over 50 rapes, and 10 murders, not 50 murders. I was comparing them because they have never been caught, and nobody knows their identity.

  • @mark85la11

You're right, was my fault, he commited over 50 rapes, but I think he is much more dangerous than the zodiac

  • @mark85la11 I respect your opinion. But you are obviously not familiar; in great detail that is, with the Zodiac case. If you were, you would have no doubt about it that the Zodiac is the most terrifying and eluse serial killer of all, even more so than Jack The Ripper. Read "Zodiac Unmasked" or "This is the Zodiac Speaking". The East Area Rapist is a punk whose luck hasn't run out on him yet. Hopefully, it will. But Zodiac outsmarted the police plain and simple.

  • @khalsasikh

I was mostly going by the detective, Larry Crompton. Where he said nobody put the fear into a neighborhood like EAR did. I think both he and Zodiac outsmarted the police, and are evil in their own way. I am actually a Zodiac buff, so I do know about the case. I think 50 rapes, 10 homicides without anyone identifying him, is comparable to Zodiac who killed seven and never was caught.

  • @mark85la11 Well, the Zodiac is confirmed to have killed 5, but police speculate there could be many more. You should read the latest theory by Christopher Farmer.

  • @khalsasikh you should read "Sudden Terror" by Crompton, you'd change your mind real quick. There was no one scarier then Ear/Ons...he didn't crave attention like Zodiac, he just wanted to rape and kill, close-up and personal, period. He was chased by police several times, always got away, changed his MO to cover his tracks, etc. Really enjoyed terrorizing his victims. Was also probably the Visallia Ransacker, so his victims number well over 100, with another murder added to make 11 known.

  • @mark85la11 this guy is zodiac, you see the sketches, very similar

  • @Hordified i think maybe im a zodiac buff ,know all the crimes .

  • 50 women raped and 10 people murdered,holy shit-excuse my language.

  • @MrTops2100 yeah that is what i was thinking.that guy was so scary.he reminded me of myex psychokiller jeremy

  • @crystalbratcher30 I agree and he's been free 35 years

  • @MrTops2100 yeah exactly.

  • My hero.

  • @TheLodiB i wanna see if he would be your hero if one of those 50 women was your mother

  • I'm surprised this guy hasn't been mentioned in recent years.I found that the most recent coverage was in 09

  • Every time the media leaked information he changed his MO I'm studying this in college and I hope he gets caught

  • 9:34 Looks like even the Zodiac Killer was helping them. That was uncharacteristically nice of him.

  • Larry Crompton said it already: the HORROR this guy made wasn't about his raping. That was terrible itself. But the worst was what that victim and him said: he, walking arround, stearing at the victims. I think he was dreaming, getting ready to murder his victims after raping them by this time, and that's what he did after.

  • SCARY

  • he's probably dead of old age or in prison

  • @Hordified old age? No, certainly not. He IS in his 40's or 50's... Man, he's not even OLD yet. That makes him more creepy. And in prision? Zodiac Killer didn't kill even 10 (definite victims) people and he wasn't cought. Look at what this guy made and there's not even a good composite sketch of him!

  • narrators voice, awesme!

  • this guy will be caught IF he isnt dead....i honestly believe it....from the reports, this guy was relatively young when he stopped....so i do believe there is still time....they will get him....just a matter of time (relatively speaking)

  • @fromanotherstar you are too optimistic i believe...

  • ONS beats NS richard ramirez hands down! ramirez was a moron who deserves to burn...this guy was a special,a sick bastard but special.

  • ZODIAC KILLER AND THE EAST AREA RAPIST. THEY WILL NEVER BE CAUGHT! THEY ARE WALKING AMONGST US AND WATCHING US WHILE KILLING US IN THEIR HEADS. HAAHAHAHAHA!!

  • ok ive been reading about serial killers for years....so hows this the 1st time ive heard of this guy???lol i wanna learn more!

  • @pdw2309 i am a true crime reader for thirty years.i didnot hear about this one until 3 or 4 years ago. i didnt hear anything about him again until i looked him up.i think they try to keep this one out of the public eye.

  • @chrismacciuss yeah i wonder why that is?im just 'googling'him as we speak!

  • Holy crap, I live in the Sacramento Carmichael area....Really scary...I'm not going to be sleeping tonight...

  • BUT I DO AGREE HE DID PUSH HIS LIMITS AND OBVIOUSLY THIS GUY HAS A HUGE EGO AND WANTED TO PROVE TO THE COPS THAT HE WAS SMARTER AND BOLDER THAN THEY THOUGHT.

  • HE HAD ALL HIS CRIMES PLANNED OUT AND HE WAS SILENT COMING RIGHT OUT UNDERNEATH THEIR NOSES. HOW CAN YOU RAPE OVER 50 WOMEN AND MURDER 10 AND NOT HAVE BEEN CAUGHT? ITS BECAUSE HE IS SMART, AND OBVIOUSLY KNOWS HOW TO KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT FOR ALL THESE YEARS. ITS NOT BEING LUCKY WHEN YOU KNOW THE VICTIMS BY WATCHING THEM AND KNOWING HOW INNOCENT THEY ARE BEFORE STRIKING.

  • @vivalafiends The EAR's spree was during an era when people were ill prepared for a serial rapist/killer. During those days, people kept their doors unlocked and information was less widespread. For example, he could attacked people in Northern California while people in Southern California would have no idea that a nutball was on the loose. I doubt he'd be able to last long in this day and age. Technology would lead to his apprehension.

  • @EndlessChris According to the F.B.I. there are currently 20-50 unidentified serial killers at work in the United States at this moment. With no leads at that. It's not the technology that leads to their arrest, it's the killer's mistakes.

  • @HoLOLcaust You make an interesting point but you're dead wrong if you think technology hasn't made an impact on the way police apprehend killers. DNA technology has made a HUGE impact on the way the police deal with criminals. Without it, many killers would be on the street. Heck, just watch the Forensic Files. DNA technology has made it possible to catch thousands of criminals.

  • @EndlessChris Umm, well durr, but serial killers(At least the ones that aren't fucking stupid) are careful, they don't leave behind any traces. And without any traces, forensic devices are useless. But I know what you mean, I as just trying to get a different point across.

  • @HoLOLcaust Well, then don't make foolish statements like "technology won't lead to their arrests." It's a combination of their mistakes and technology. Technology typically seals their fate.

  • @EndlessChris I'm sorry I thought that conversation was over? I guess you're just a control freak. And what the fuck? You pretty much just turned around what I was saying and made it your own.

  • @HoLOLcaust Hey now, I'm not the one who said "technology doesn't lead to their arrest." With that statement alone, you acted like technology played a very small role in their apprehension. First you downplay it's role, then you say, oh, it's obvious technology plays an important role? Make up your mind. Whatever...

  • @EndlessChris just ask the btk dude

  • @HoLOLcaust omg, that is so scary.im gonna be careful now.

  • THIS GUY IS BY FAR ONE OF THE SMARTEST SERIAL KILLERS/ RAPIST TO HAVE EVER EXISTED IN THE USA. THE FACT THAT HE HAS NEVER BEEN CAUGHT THAT IS CRAZY!!

  • @vivalafiends Smartest? That's a bit of a stretch. The EAR was pushing the limits every time he entered people's homes. Someone easily could have turned the tables on him and killed him. Luckiest is more appropriate.

  • @vivalafiends hes a reincarnation of jack the ripper.

  • @jimpurdie no dear,he's even worse than jack.only the zodiac can stand to comparison with him.

  • 'Only Zodiac stand in comparison...' to DiamondKnot!? More like crouch! DiamondKnot was/is in a league of his own. DiamondKnot probably scared the hell outta Zodiac (if Z was alive and whatnot..)!!!

What about the AxeMan of New Orleans (my hometown, btw)? For me, DiamondKnot tops the cake. Worst of the worst (to the 'enth power)(!) He's terror incarnate. I'm sure he'd love that moniker.

  • @ajm48786 The AxeMan was cool, the "mad butcher of kingsbury run" aka "the cleveland torso killer" was better, a true sadist...the case is unsolved,at least 12 murders had been tied to this killer maybe more and after so many years still no suspects about who may have done it...the zodiac was great but the ONS was even worse...

  • Is there any serious thought that the ONS might have been killed by a homeowner? Have all burglars shot and killed in Calif been checked by way of DNA?

  • its crazy how this guy has never been caught!!!

  • @Barcenova yeah i noe i watch this case on cold case files and back then when woman were getting raped even with thier husbands at home there was a meeting regarding the issue with alot people one man spoke out and said how can woman be raped and thier husbands are home three months after the meeting he was killed it was so obvious he was at meeting

  • @Temujin18S yeah I read about that, of course he was there!!! This guy along with the Zodiac are among the most prolific criminal minds ever.... them along with DB Cooper are one of the few that have committed the perfect crime, and to this day have got away with it...its crazy!!!

  • i think it was gerald gallego.

  • @jimpurdie wouldnt gerald gallego have been entered into the california dna database?

  • @toodeadfordreaming NO IT WAS TOO EARLY AND GALLEGO WAS ON NEVADA DEATH ROW.CALIFORNIA NEVER HAD HIS DNA.
