  • my cues don't even work with mine what do you have yours mapped to that you can turn them on the way you do?

  • p.s. your a numpty for even posting this. your just too lazy to press the cue buttons

  • @madwarks well of course you are entitled to your opinion, but as this video is 16 months old and was recorded within weeks of the VMS4 hitting the market AND being response to AA and Atomix asking for a video to show the issue, I can't agree with you this time ;-)

Also, I returned the VMS4 shortly after and am now the proud owner of a Denon DN-MC6000 which also operates as an external mixer and I have to press cue all the time...

  • the vms4 works as an EXTERNAL mixer and the cue buttons are manual just as on an analogue mixer. there's nothing wrong with your vms4 or vdj

  • @madwarks Did you even expand and ead the update? There is an expected behaviour with regards to "Auto Headphones" which was not being reproduced by the MIDI mapping. This was valid - at the time - as before the firmware update there was support for "Auto Headphones" but with issues (see my other post). After the firmware update the support for Auto Headphones disappeared, which this video was demonstrating.

  • i have the digitech AM4252 virtual dj controller n my cues are buggin up to when ever i press them they do nothing

  • The 1st cue issue vid: there is a firmware update to fix that problem

Issue 2 in this video: idk if the firmware fixes this, but so the phuk what if it doesn't, this doesn't seem to be a big issue to me at all. Just hit the cues as u need them. Its nothing to fuss about, the vms4 is a beast and with an upgrade to VDJ7 and the firmware update everything is perfect. No complaints on my end

  • @majicalpig This video is 7 months old. I was working with Atomix and AA to solve some problems that we found days after the launch. It was because if these videos and feedback on the forums that the firmware was released, which is why you are now having so much fun with the VMS4 ;-)

  • u talk waay 2 much and are off the point of solutions.

  • @SaxManDanDotCom There was no solution at the time. Hence a firmware update was required and subsequently released. I talked a lot because I got feedback from Atomix and AA that I said nothign in the other video!!!

  • Hey Cornelious. Thank for your video showing some problems with the VSM4.

Did the manufactorer / Atomix fix your problems?

It seems as though this controller is not really "reflection what is going on at the screen? Is that the case?

I am about to buy the VSM4 - but I am a little sceptical.. Best regards

  • @Uhyggepianisten Yes a firmware update was released and fixed this problem. As an analogue controller only certain aspects of the controllers actions are reflected on screen. EQ and volume faders are, by default, hardware controlled not software.

  • i have porblems with the que pionts at virtuald dj also :(

  • Hey Cornelious Thanks for the follow up Video. There is no MIDI feed back on the PFL CUE's to prevent confusion as to what channels is Cue'd on the HP monitor. There is midi out. which will set you deck on focus just as if you clicked on the screens GUI, the Jog wheel will also toggle the focus deck during playback. Since your audio should be routed to external mixer mode there should be no need to press cue on your screen.

  • just as when you move the eq's on vdj, the screen does not reflect the change. this is stated in the manual that the fades and eq's dont visually change. maybe the cues are the same?? keep us up to date
