Would you say that I could get by with a cheap keyboard if I use this mostly? That's what I just bought ($10 keyboard + Nostromo), should I regret?

@MrMisterpickle Well it depends on the amount of games you have. it has a 20 profile limit but you can sort of cheat that. I'd say you should be fine. You may not like typing very much =P But you'll be good for gaming at least.

@koentavish It's actually a program that a friend of mine wrote for me so I could switch between a normal and modded minecraft whenever I want. It's really handy =)

Can you use the D pad for like looking around? for example if you were playing a FPS like COD/CS or whatever, can you use just this to move and look around? pretty much what I am asking is it possible to play it without the mouse at all, customizing all of the keys to the move and shoot keys?

@TheWakturtle I don't think that there is any way to make the thumbpad move your mouse except possible using a joy 2 key program. You might be able to change the bindings within games so that the thumbpad for looking around in games that support a controller, but I really don't know if that would work, sorry I couldn't be of much help =/

Some good ideas, thanks! I esp like the crafting macro.

Some suggestions - the dpad is much better used for movement. You can save profiles per game, so you can use all 8 Modes per game, and the editor will autoswap profiles when you switch games. Crafting can be moved to a second mode. For your shooting macro, you can add pauses and time it to the damage buffer so you're not wasting arrows.

@Grendalsh Thanks for the great feedback! And ya, I haven't gotten into it too much but I'm gonna get into keymap switching and auto profiles in some of my next videos. I honestly haven't tried moving with the D-pad, I was gonna try and do it on a game that supports 8-way movement but I think i'm gonna try it on other games now and see. =P btw great channel! I can't wait to see what videos you have next. Subbed =D
