If it is a life, like you said, than it deserves the right to LIVE. I won't "consider the principal" because your logic is flawed. Robberies are specifically called "robbery" as it entails robbing someone of their possessions. You've provided no evidence that deaths due to robberies would go down if robbery was made legal - in fact, it would be more likely that people would start buying weapons in order to protect themselves as the possibility of people breaking in to their homes rose, thus raising death tolls.
Furthermore, the essential problem with "robbery" is not related to death, its related to someone getting their things stolen. So for your example to somehow relate to what I said about abortion, you would have to say "if robbery was legal, than less people would have their things stolen". The truth is, DNA is the building blocks of life, it is used in court to Identify a person; When man & women agree to copulate, it is intent, giving human rights to a newly created Human Life, in it's early stage of growth, separate with it's own DNA, identifying it as a person, protected by the constitution, and parental responsibility. Once a pregnancy occurs you are responsible to protect the person, growing inside you, until born, then decide on adoption. We must face the hard cold truth.
I love when people say "The fetus wants to live" or whatever. The fetus cannot make a choice because it has no conscious and no personality. Personalities and cognitive thoughts are formed over time and are based on the child's environment; you are not born with them.

PCA has recently begun a paid ad campaign to attack Ron Paul's 2012, and is paying a very large amount to have a top ad. This should tell you that the system has become desperate. PCA however leaves out the fact that some states would surely still have abortion legal in a Ron Paul America, and unlike O'Bama he would never take actions through executive order. And I just can't say "I do not want a child so I will kill this fetus." That would be horrible. So the question becomes is the fetus just a lump of cells ora parasite or is it a hman being with rights? That is the essential question. I do not see whether or not the child is wanted as being relevant. It is sad but not relaly relevant.

I won't "consider the principal" because your logic is flawed. Robberies are specifically called "robbery" as it entails robbing someone of their possessions. You've provided no evidence that deaths due to robberies would go down if robbery was made legal - in fact, it would be more likely that people would start buying weapons in order to protect themselves as the possibility of people breaking in to their homes rose, thus raising death tolls.

The truth is, DNA is the building blocks of life, it is used in court to Identify a person; When man & women agree to copulate, it is intent, giving human rights to a newly created Human Life, in it's early stage of growth, separate with it's own DNA, identifying it as a person, protected by the constitution, and parental responsibility. Once a pregnancy occurs you are responsible to protect the person, growing inside you, until born, then decide on adoption. We must face the hard cold truth.

I love when people say "The fetus wants to live" or whatever. The fetus cannot make a choice because it has no conscious and no personality. Personalities and cognitive thoughts are formed over time and are based on the child's environment; you are not born with them.
My Roman Catholic grandfather tried to convince my mother to abort me and I'm perfectly ok with it.

Consciousness is not possible until the nervous system is hooked up tot he cerebral cortex, a process that does not begin until week 29. See, "Fetal Awareness - Review of Research and Recommendations for Practice", RCOG, 2919. People toss and turn int heir sleep. This doesn't mean they're conscious.
