They did not have to shoot those bears , there are other options to deal with them .

It is disgusting that they resorted to killing those animals.

they chased my friends down the trail one day haha. why do all the animals at hunter end up getting shot? first the porcupine and now the bears

Unfortunately the mother and cubs were shot and killed by local police a week or two ago. People were feeding the bears and they got too friendly with humans and broke into a few houses. As a result, they were shot.
