  • Great playing

  • I just hope this will be mass produced

  • @vlado544 What do you mean? It is available everywhere...

  • @bloodySunday77 that's good to know. I've just remembered that original Fender J Mascis (purple) JM is out of production, so I hope this one will be still available in a few months (or years) by the time I have the money for it.

  • @vlado544 I completely understand what you mean. I also wanted the purple sparkle one and then all of a sudden it became a collectible Ebay item. The funny thing is that I was looking for a Jazzmaster with these exact colours and pickguard (minus the neck - I wanted maple). I couldn't afford any Custom Shop models or vintage ones. I was even planning on making it myself from parts. And then Squier released this... with a great price!

  • I cannot decide whether to get this Squier or an AVRI (or maybe a real vintage one). I was going to get a used classic player but there was an AVRI at the same store. I tried it and the AVRI was so good that the CP suddenly sounded like crap. Any advice?

  • great demo, great playing, great musical taste... I´m gonna get one right now!

  • Tell us --- how do you like the neck???!!

  • @admiraltoast It is nice and chunky, not too far away from the neck on my '63 in terms of feel, to tell you the truth... A blast to play, really.

  • cool demo!

  • Mine is on order cant wait !

  • Thanks for sharing-- I ordered one.... and can not wait!!!!!!

  • what was the first song you played?

  • @1993marigold That would be Radiohead - "15 Step".

  • great playing- love the song choices.

  • thanks for a great review - done by just simply playing ! i have an AVRI jazzmaster but this squire is really making me think that i need a "back up". can you compare it to any other jazzmasters that you've owned or played ?

  • @indieclock I own a vintage 1963 Jazzy, a CIJ and a Lee Ranaldo Signature, and this Squier is by no means subpar compared to any of them (the lack of features, like the missing trem-lock, is perhaps a given at this price point). It has its own vibe of course, but overall I am amazed by the quality of this instrument!
