Carry, I loved this listening to your talk, i do have a question though, Do you think that "nuke" testing in the french polynesians had an effect on komono dragons or any other biological form of life both genectically or other wise....Just Askin ... This is Blue eyes on mama rose's channel and send me link to your study page i am very interested in your talks and subjects....Thanks....Eric AKA Blue eyes
@gastricRose Thanks "BlueEyes"! I am glad to hear you enjoyed it. My channel has pretty much only been about WLS, but there are so many other things in my life I figured it was time my channel reflected that. As far as the nukes, fallout does affect the integrity of DNA, but Kimodo Dragons evolved millions of years ago. That particular geographical area is extremely rich in biodiversity, but it is not because of nuclear testing.
@freshorangina Evolution is the result of small changes that give an advantage to an animal in a particular environment. Because of the advantage more survive to breed, and the next generation carry that DNA marker. When it comes to nuclear fallout, the breaks are overwhelming, resulting in cancers and deformities in offspring. The mutations build up so quickly, there is not usually any competitive advantage, but instead it will result in early death.
