my camry se has the 3vz-fe in it im currently fixing it after a wreck but i have a few videos on my channel with an exhaust on it, they do have good throttle response and pull hard for the weight of the car

hmmm....last I heard the 3vzfe makes around 270 NM, whereas the gen 3 jap spec 3sgte makes just over 300 NM with 245 horsepower.........definitely sweet sounding though.

It's only a tiny bit heavier than a stock turbo engine, and because of the engine placement I couldn't feel much difference in weight. If anything handling was better, thanks to the immediate torque available from the V6 on corner exits

3vz! 1mz are weak, tiny rods etc... little more power out of the box but you can make that up with the 3vz.

I read about the weaknesses of the 1mz on the forums, but I like the fact it's light and the powerband. But the 3vz, from what I heard is easier to install (wiring) compared to the 1mz. More I read, I think I'm leaning to the 3vz. How fast did you install yours?
