  • From my childhood, Brother Buzz was one of the most positive "role models," if you will. The Latham Foundation certainly had its heart and head in the right place. Incidentally, At 59 years old, I'm proud to say that I'm a member of the Brother Buzz Club.

To the Latham Foundation: please bring Brother Buzz back. This country needs him.

  • What I do seem to remember is that there used to be a club that kids could join. I used to want to join that club so much, but never did - to my great regret. Thanks for putting this up on YouTube. Now I'll have to work on getting the lyrics of the theme song right.

  • I used to watch The Wonderful World of Brother Buzz as a young child in the early to mid 70s in Australia, and loved it. I seem to be the only person in Australia who remembers the show. I can even still sing the theme song, although after watching this clip I see I didn't quite remember the words properly.

  • I remember this show as being a cartoon in NYC in the early 70's.

    Am I remembering it correctly?

  • Partly. The Wonderful World of Brother Buzz television programs were broadcast nationwide in the 1960 and early 1970's - along with the Withit series which did not feature Brother Buzz.

It was not a cartoon, but were stories aimed at a younger audience about animals and people.

  • @witchman67 You are correct; the show was animated beginning in 1969, and distrubuted by NET/PBS.

  • Was this show shown in the San Jose area in the mid 1950s ? I think I watched this as a kid
