  • Nice companion peice to the Cliffhanger end credits theme

  • este es una de las mejores temas musicales¡¡¡ = k la pelicula los amo¡¡

  • Ja oglądałem jakaś babkę z zajebistymi balonami , sam nie wiem jak tutaj trafiłem.

  • kto tu wbil bo widzial ten film z lolem? :D

  • This was one beautiful film, and there was no better choice than Wes Studi for magua. Iloved seeing Native American activist Russel Means as the father too.

  • Magua understands that the white man is a dog to his women. When they are tired, he puts down his tomahawk to feed their laziness.

  • 1:50 Drums were really unnecessary

  • @Doobeedowapbop Not at all unnecessary, it added depth and character to the piece, it would have been repetitive and boring without them.

  • well let me show you how far i can go

  • MAGUA!

  • JE KIFFFF sa me donne les frisson

  • hehe i love uk

  • I am the Last of the Supper Saiyens!

  • wonderful music & movie!!! Hats off to Wes Studi for his performance and Trevor Jones for the great music:)

  • Now that's different amazing totally amazing !!!!!!!!! woow

  • hehe Im professional BALLET dancer. You can ask me to give you ballet show

  • 2:35

  • le film trop puissant!!!!!

  • One of my Native American Realitives played an Indian in this move.

  • The ending of last of the mohicans is the most epic in movie history.

  • DDL is my man :)

  • i cannot relax on this song, when i hear this perfect song i have to cry (because the ending scene)

  • Uma das mais belas misturas instrumentais que minha audição associada com as imagens que meus olhos acompanhava enquanto o filme rodava, experimentou. Hoje tenho o filme e tenho a música.

  • in this version of the drums are amazing

  • Such a f**king powerfull song!

  • @emmypoo71 the name of the song? thanks

  • This doesn´t sound like the original score. Where does this come from?

The movie was epic - still one of my favourites.

  • you have no self control what did you have for breakfast.uranium

  • After the revolution there was no power that could stop the Americans to kill Indians and steal their land!

  • The fate of the Indians would have been better if the British win the Revolutionary War, moreover, one of the grievances of the colonists was that the crown had to forbid the American colonists to settle in the newly conquered territories of the Indians on the French. This policy was the result of the fears felt by a wreath at the economic and demographic power of the colonies! Benjamin Franklin did not he say that if things continued like it there more English in America than in England!

  • they should play this music for us troops at battle times in Iraq and Afghanistan

  • Listen to the Merlin soundtrack, another great by Trevor Jones.

  • Terrific suite of music from one of my favourite films.

  • I agree Wes Studi should have received a lot more recognition for his role as Magua. I wonder if he didn't pattern his character after Pontiac, another great Huron warrior. I've seen him in many roles and he never dissappoints.

  • Piękny film i piękna muzyka.

  • Amazing rendition of the music. I love the soundtrack, one of the best ever composed.

  • only from listening to this song and the titanic theme song have i ever had goosebumps on my beard, this is some ridicolously tense stuff!

  • -scots were hired by many countries to fight their wars-scots were known to be ferocious-so fought in canada against the iroquois there-sometime w only promise of plenty good whisky-i saw a mural of scots massacre of native indians in the scots blackguard armory montreal.quebec in memory of their victory over the natives there-thats why this music is in the movie-but be better to have 1/2 native flutes or chant-no iroquois mistreated women prisoner-but magua got twisted by whites

  • pure awesome

  • Me ENCANTA ,la música´me gusta la Historia y por supuesto los actores, que están Fenomenal.

  • Me ENCANTA ,la música

  • this song is so nice....i love it.....

  • i love this song!!! after i saw the movie, i wrote my own song called Native American Ballad inspired by the music here. My song is more piano-based than string-based like this one, but I tried to capture the same powerful, emotional build-up!! Both of these instrumentals are great for self-reflection.

  • Amazing Movie , music and actors!

  • Fantastically beautiful

  • what is this film about? thks

  • ow man wes studi character magua plays an impressive rol in this movie, what honorable actor

  • @castigadormapuche1 yes for sure! Wes Studi is also a Vietnam war veteran so he was able to capture the intensity of a war situation much better than most actors would have been able to and he did phenominal!

  • @littlemizbecca haha i didnt know thar, thanks for the reply

  • @imperioindigenalol no problem! there are always these really cool little insiders I like to pick up :)

  • Definitely one of my most favorite movies.

  • this is still a great film of its kind. i still have the Vhs which i kept for so long. i wanted it so bad. what a movie. what a scene. i dont know if the movie made it to box office back in the day. now i finally have the dvd. Cheers!!!

PS after the 90s hollywood went downhill

  • That poor girl :(

  • great video, the music and scenes are spectacular!

  • dobra pesnička

  • @thebengalhannibal somewhere round Iran/Iraq some few thousand years before the pyramids of egypt went up, but thats for our view of civiliatation, 'new grange' county meath ireland is the oldest known roofed structure yet found, it outdates the egyptian pyramids and stone hendge by a few k years, for me it doesnt matter where u come from we are ALL only seperated by a few k years

  • man, this gets my emotions running, really beautiful and powerful music.

  • very relaxing music, hopefully they will make more movies like this one, instead of harry potter or twilight

  • @grig24x

    I agree with 100%

it is one of the best movies till now.

  • if anyone would ever ask me what is the meaning of epic i would say well watch Last of The Mohicans, its the Incarnation of the word epic.

  • Ms Stowe fully naked is what I want to see alot!!!

  • The ending was the most sensational and compelling I can recall seeing..the music was great...the scenery incomparable.

  • Yes, great soundtrack. Trevor Jones is a genius, brilliant all the way around!

  • Folks need to realise that if the stoop to saying one race is worse than the other, it's still racism whichever country you come from. At the end of the day, we all bleed and breathe the same.

Learn from Bill and Ted's most important credo: "Be excellent to each other"

  • Hey, how about y'all just SHUT THE EFF UP ABOUT YOUR GOD-DAMNED HISTORY.

  • Day Lewis rocked in this. I don't know how he could stoop to crap like Gangs of New York.

  • Great choice of images! I haven't seen that movie in ages, but it did fantastic work on the details: the costumes were really good, the music was awesome, the actors were great, and even secondary characters got a decent background and character development - a precious rarity in a move that's mostly historical romance.

I really like how you mix background/landscapes with stills of the actors. It fits very well with the movie because the beautiful props and landscapes were part of the charm.

  • My all time favourite movie and a soundtrack that just gives me goosebumps.

  • one of my favorite movies -- the music was spectacular as well

  • Very beautiful video and very beautiful move, compliments!

  • @Destiny1389 Why mension that twat here? :/

  • an epic of america

  • The British Empire, to make the world England, one of the most polluted "empires" in the world. Yes, do, let's make the world England. That's why my Ancestors favored the French. They assimilated themselves to our lives/culture, they did not come to colonize us. We never wanted to be white people. We wanted to be free, just as your Puritans did. Since then, we've suffered in your quest for God, glory and gold. Gwich/"Thanks".

  • I can't recall one person who hates this movie or the music.

If they do then they must hate life!

  • @WatchMyAwesomeVideos The main title as well s the rest ws a calming point for a friend of mine who unfortunatly took his own life a yr ago this coming December. He ws 36.

  • One of my collection movies.

    Nonthaburi

    THAILAND

  • When you think back the Brittish Empire must have been vast.

  • @kopynd, the British Empire was indeed vast and glorious...and it spread a civilizing influence throughout the entire world, improving the lives of countless millions -- no matter what the historical revisionists want to claim today.

  • @ttowntom

"improving the lives of countless millions"

This is even more hillarious thanks to just reading a lot on the effects of, among other things, opium production and trade in India under the "civilizing" influence of the British Empire.

"Revisionists" ? I didn't know that word is now defined as "doesn't share my point of view".

  • @Rabia,

India before the British Empire: Widespread practices of murder, rape, slavery, subjugation of women, illiteracy rate approaching 100%, near-constant warfare between minor sultanates, a standard of living utterly devoid of manufactured goods, not even the most basic of medical treatment, etc.

India after the British Empire. The highest standard of living in the region, slavery eradicated, tribal warfare and most barbaric practices suppressed, a fair and modern legal system, etc.

  • Absolutely right. As a result you have some of the best brains on the planet.

  • @ttowntom U R A DELUDED CUM, STAIN, that thinks, KOLUMBUS DISCOVERED NEW worlds.

BRITS brought NOTHING but disease of racism, sexism. BENGALIS kicked u into bay of Bengal.

SAVAGES., know ur kind follows ASIAN RELIGION, ASIAN PHILOSOPHY, ASIAN MIGHT.

    Primitive deluded SAVAGE.

  • @ttowntom

    PRIMITIVE yanKKK.

What a IMPOTENT SAVAGE ameriKKKan, know anything thee most ancient civilization on the planet.Father India.

  • @TheBENGAL,

Gosh, isn't it wonderful to be 13 and own a computer, eh?

  • @TheBENGALHANNIBAL the most ancient civilization is china... as far as I know

  • @kopynd True, there was a time when the British empire was the largest and most powerful empire in the world, but after World War 2 the British lost a lot of power and influence and the Americas took their place as the most powerful country and empre (if you want to call America an empire) in the world.

  • @LordMalice6d9

Interesting thing: the US isn't a bad example of a modern empire, because characteristics of an empire are that ithas cultural and financial influence, that these come from the center / home land, and that the outlying regions aren't officially ruled by the central power but are strongly influenced politically, by treaties or because they are dependant.

Okay, I'll shut up now with the history lecture. Sorry, couldn't help myself ;)

  • Magnifico!!!

  • isn't this song(from 1:30) also in Legends of The Fall?

btw great movie and great soundtrack!

  • Great movie and music, superb performance by Wes Studi.

  • Looking forward to it in bluy ray

  • I love this fucking music !!

  • Trevor Jones The whole world is on fire

  • Wes Studi should have been given an Academy Award. What a fantastic movie! Too bad Wes Studi hasn't been in more movies. Not to take a thing away from Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeline Stowe. In my opinion, Daniel Day-Lewis is the most underrated actor of our time.

  • @romaneeto

That may be true. In my opinion D.Day-Lewis played also a good role in "Gangs of New York".

  • @romaneeto Wes Studi was brilliant in this but Daniel Day-Lewis isn't underrated. He has acted in relatively few films by choice and has won 2 Oscars for best actor & being nominated for more. He is thought by many to be one of the best actors or his generation. He just chooses not to take many acting roles.

  • @romaneeto he's in plenty of movies, mostly native american movies though

  • @darthroeluz do you know of any more native american movies? i would love to see more action from the greatest warriors that ever lived.

  • @cuzgandalfgothigh99 I know a few, 'Dances with wolves' but the main character is white and played by kevin costner -_- 'the new world' is a live action version of Pocahontas, Geronimo havent seen it but it looks pretty awesome, Apocalypto directed by mel gibson so dont watch it if you dont like lots of blood :P Try checking imd.com you can find plenty there, just avoid the movies with red painted white actors xD

  • @darthroeluz Thanks alot mate, i think ive seen a little bit of that "dances with wolves" yeah white characters dont fit that much LoL. but for the rest thnx, and ill check out that website.

  • perfect!!!!!bravo!!!!

  • worst version i have ever head

  • Inspiring

    Motivating

    Liberating

Sensational Makes me smile and dream ;D

  • man, if I could only find a women who would fall to her death for me... but seriously, I just watched this movie again.. incredible. I look at the shit hollywood is spewing out now and wonder what happened sometimes... guess I'll have to watch for the Last of the Mohican remake in 3D since Michael Bay has a hard-on for that type of thing

  • Best movie ever!

  • I love the end when the father kicks some ass.

    Great movie

  • we are amiss, was this the beautiful Black Hills?

Sorry if incorrect as I do not know...although shot on beautiful location in the USA.

  • @repelghosts It was filmed in North Carolina; major scenes in Chimney Rock State Park.. I stood under water falls, also climbed up to precipice where I could look over to area where Huron village was set. Absolutely breathtaking scenery...a must-see for any fan of the film.

  • @acelticmuse some of this was filmed in Pennsylvania

  • A wonderful post. It does justice to a great movie and soundtrack. Thanks!!

  • The good the bad... the Characters in this was epic... top movie I think one of my all time favs for sure!

  • Every Time I ask where are you i get the answer in heaven with my ancestors...

  • Gorgeous scenery, music, men... there's not much to NOT like about The Last of the Mohicans. I wonder if this movie helped tourism in the area where it was filmed. Sure makes *me* want to take a trip there.

  • One of the best music for a great movie. This kind of combination comes every decade. Beautiful for all the times.

  • i loved this movie...all good movies seem to end in tragedy...the song and the pics are just...amazing!

  • I LIVE THIS....

THE MUSIC SENDS ME.......back to this place of my ancestors.

  • Lo mejor de lo mejor, sin ninguna duda.

  • great music and breathtaking cinematography

  • Magua is the shit!

  • @ZeroToleranceKnives - Yeah, that's one BAD Mofo!!

  • This guy really fucked up those Yengeez bastards.

  • Word

  • Wes Studi plays a great role...should have got an oscar

  • @pennyfritz Your absolutely correct, Wes should have won an Oscar for a supporting role as Magua. Fantastic!!!!

  • @pennyfritz If he was jewish... no prob he should at least got at least an nomination... Go Brother!!!!

  • Магуа - колоритный мужик

  • @hansentrust

perhaps a bit of both ... But one can not deny , the exellence of him, as an Actor, & how he portrayed the part.. As he does in all parts he plays .. He is an actor & a good one...

  • Hi My friend met him and she felt his magnetism and sex appeal really got to her. Also she felt he is a true gentleman, which also greatly increased his appeal. lol guess she was quite turned ON! :)

  • and yes,; his creativity, as an actor (what else?) helped enormously in amplifying his appeal. My friend and I both thought his acting in this film was truly superb. The last scene was as beautiful as it was wrenching. It powerfully brought to the fore the continent-wide disaster that awaited the native-american civilizations.

Also the sound track was so affecting, especially the song by the Irish group:Clannad;: "I WILL FIND YOU".

  • this music always gives me goosh bumps. it is so brilliant.

  • When Celtic meets Native Americana...simple and undeniably quenching of a souls thirst for history.

  • Ahh yes when American cinema was great....

  • Grandissimo fil, grande colonna sonora, indimenticabile!

  • tare buna muzika...super...si filmu tot...

  • A friend of a friend, etc is married to Lewis; he is STILL a babe magnet!

  • einfach nur geil!!! hammer film und hammer musik!!

  • c'est une très bonne muysic

  • The main bad guy looks like the kind of guy that a kid could say "that's my dad, so u better not mess with me if you know what's good for you." XD I always thought he was great in films.

  • The Last Mohican, Master and Commander and The Patriot ... The 3 best movies ever seen!

  • yh u nt seen bravehart

  • maravilhosos esse filme... trilha sonora fantástica

  • piękne

  • very very good:) pozdrawiam 5/5

  • Thank You for that video!

  • magwa will show you the way to fort henry!

  • Great music. But it seems every time I've seen Wes Studi, he's always playing a heavy. What else has he been in?

  • He was a cop in Die Hard III with Willis and Samuel L. Jackson

  • Fully agree with all the comments 'bout the soundtrak, stirring to say the least.

And the acting...suspended my disbelief for a few hours.........honestly ....got so sucked in by the acting, that my wee brain thought I was watching the real people.....gotta be the benchmark for performance.....to convince an audience like that........wonderful.. !!!!

    DD Lewis .............way under rated.
