Hmm, the Best on Eve Online is that you need to train many Skills and that can take Minutes...Hours...or Days, in this Time you go and Miner some Asteroids, go PVP, make some Events or you do some Missions in this Time.

T_T Nearly got blobbed by a 25++ man fleet in Black Rise, bunch were guardians with rapier support. and all the rest were T3, we outnumbered them 2 to 1 and we could see that we couldn't engage. All the bastards who said they couldn't be used in a fleet can eat their hats now. It's fucking easy to fit one and learn 1 up. 3 months skilling time from scratch and only 600 mil at most to fit it t2. T_T And with some of the cheaper plex mods. And to you average players, go play an average game.

What is the actualy sub system layout for Protues 33333, I cant get 5 meds and 5 highs with 8 lows on EFT.....atm i have 7 lows, 3 mids and 6 highs.

Duel plated gives me about 175k ehp and about 750dps...but would really like a cap booster or bloody something for it :(

You change the ships moduels to fit your needs. For example you could confiure it to destroy frigates via moduels you decide to use. this influences the look of the ship.

basically you get a common racial hull. you have 5 different subsystems, 4 options for each type (so far). Each different subsystem modifies certain aspects of the basic hull (speed, weapon layouts, fittings), while also providing skill-based bonuses. each subsystem also modifies the appearing, depending of preference, one might go for looks or performance.

Let's see, ship cost don't remember, about 200M and 5 mods at about over 200M ISK each. so that would be over 1,200M ISK for a T3 ship. Insane expensive. Skill requirements are moderately high as well.

Is there anyone who will actually use this stuff for anything but solo PVP? They're too expensive to replace in casual PVP warfare, really a useless addition to EvE if you ask me. @Asiancomedian To be fair, I made that comment about 8 months ago, around when these ships came out. Like most things in EvE, the price slowly declines as it becomes "not the hip thing anymore". Although youtube has taken to not sorting comments by time, so a lot of older comments will be bumped sadly. Still, I stand by what I said. I really wish they'd make some ships for the more average player to get their hands on. Maybe add a few extra ships to each of the already established ship classes.

Anyhow, I've played Eve recently (as in within the last few months) and I noticed that there were slightly more of them now. But I still don't think they've taken a big enough role in PVP relative to how much they were hyped up, and 90% of the ones I saw were mission fit. It's too much of an ISK loss for your killboards, from what I can see.

the ship is essentially an empty shell, you put in subsystems which dictate its: cpu, grid, slots, speed, armor/shield, etc....

these subsystems also give bonuses to roles example: increase to armor, or decrease in cov op cloak cpu.

To make it simple, the ship has parts. Each parts have about 4 different components/modules. Now you can make several different configurations which resulted in different ships bonus and abilities.
