Not gonna lie, mod motors cant make the power of an LS-based engine. Mods like longs tubes, intake, gears will only give like 30-40hp on a mod, but on a chevy, its like 50-60. I can say this cuz i own a 99 gt with a 5-speed and i have a friend with a 00 silverado with a 6.0L and he blows my doors off on the highway everytime.

I think the 4.6L 2V DOHC 99-04 Mustang GT V8s have the same potential as the 03-04 Cobras. The 03-04 Cobras just came stock Supercharged.

they do have potential...but the cobras have all foreged internals and are 4v per cylinder...whereas the GTs have 2v's per cylinder and cast internals...it takes a lot of work and replacing parts to get the 2Vs to put out as much as the 4Vs

I am still saying that the 2V DOHC V8 has the same potential. If you go to Kenne Bell's website they have a supercharger called the 2.6L. It was once for an 03-04 Cobra 4V. The 2.6L made more power on a 2V than a 4V. Plus, they even talk about the 2V's potential. Now, if anyone disagrees they can just go look on Kenne Bell's website at the 2.6L supercharger. I have proof to back up my statement. Do you think I would really type random crap I couldn't back up?
