Last season- he was not better than a lot of our players so let's nip that in the bud. He played two games. He was not better than; Taylor, Coloccini, Enrique, Krul, Jonas, Barton or Ferguson. So yeah.

There's far worse players than Best in the squad right now. Based on his performances last season Best is our best striker after Demba Ba. The likes of Smith, Perch, Lovenkrands, Ryan Taylor etc need to be fucked off and replaced long before Best who while nowt special has age on his side and a willingness to improve. Where we stand right now, he's worth of a place as 3rd choice behind Ba and this elusive new striker. (plus Ben Arfa if Pardew does fancy him as a withdrawn forward)
to be honest I think at the moment big fraser foster would easily be englands second choice keeper behind joe hart...
