  • they are some of the skinniest legs I've ever seen...

  • Denzel brought me here

  • @nastylefthook1 You are a racist and you can't see more far than your stupidity

  • I remember watching that fight. MAN am I old, or what??

  • omg the hurricane is so quick with his left hooks :O

  • Dont forget Carmen Tedeschi watch how he huggs Rubin after the fight!

  • Carter was more effictive using 12 guage shotgun on bar tenders back and the a face shotgun blast to a mother of 4 hiding in corner of Lafayette Bar in 1966

  • here comes the story of the hurricane

a man the authorities came to blame

for something that he never done

  • @parkerthehicks "put him in a prison cell, but one time he could have been the champion of the world."

  • Sad night for griffith...then getting peppered about his sexuality afterwards. Amazing man you are Emile..as a young 'student of the game' I will always admire you

  • that uppercut at 1:31 made all the difference

  • 9/11 was an inside job. All the ALLEGED terrorists were only ACCUSED, but still sent to prison.

Everyone watch "TERROR STORM 2ND EDITION" Great video clip...

  • @BlueMoon858 - Why is this here?

  • @Texaskingfish Cuz Hurricane was set up just like ACCUSED/ALLEGED Muslim terrorists...

  • @BlueMoon858 - Idiot can't learn to separate ideology from someone else's post on an unrelated subject...

  • OHHHH What a left hook! WHAT A LEFT HOOK!!

  • Esse simplismente foi um grande lutador e um grande homem.

Me surpreendo com os seres humanos, para que perseguir as pessoas.

Todos nós temos o direito de ser livres.

    Viva Rubin Carter.

  • I should have used this in my movie yesterday!

    Search on KingCast65 channel:

Rubin Hurricane Carter Compelling Conversation at Bunker Hill Community College

  • just watched a CBC documentary........amazing man!!!!!

  • his bday was 2 days after mine =)

  • i wuldnt want to get caught between them two they can throw sum punches

  • Both of them were great fighters. However, I bet one regrets offending the other over his sexuality and the other regrets killing the other.

  • @7rancisco1 Dude he didn't kill him Fuck You.. Read the damn book or if you can't concentrate on a book watch the frikkin' movie dumbass

  • legs are way too thin.

  • in my opinion Hurricane is the greatest boxer of history.......

  • Its shows that you know nothing about boxing , sorry .

  • If the title was on the line, Rube would have gained it!

  • Good old fashioned blood lust and a real desire to break the social chains that held them down. Whats wrong with people today, theyd never summon up the energy to stage a revolt.

  • definatley looks like Denzel in that ring

  • Damn, Denzel had Carter's character down to a tee in the movie Hurricane

  • theres no killers like this anymore, people wanted the knockout back then and didnt care if they got hit! totally different story these days

  • O melhor... Rubin Carter!

    Parabéns!

  • hahahaha who gives a shit if he did it or didn't the point is that he was a great boxer and when he came out of prison he got a lot of cash from the government =P for compensation so in reality he is the winner.

  • @wiiskateit69

Could you please point me to articles about Carter being reinbursed by the gov?

  • it's great seeing that sick disgusting faggot Griffith getting KO'd quickly

  • @gonzomoya420

Grffith was and is a great man.

  • For all you dips that think this man is innocent, the person that drove him home that night is still sitting in prison.

  • @stjdavis I am apauled that you said something like that! John Artis may be still in prison but would it have occured to you that maybe he did commit a crime? I apologize if that isn't the case as I am not quite in touch with the actually trial and who was convicted and who was not. I just believe that you shouldn't judge him. He was found not guilty by the court which is meant to be impartial and fair. I just think you should give him the benefit of the doubt,

  • @stjdavis your an idiot,he was later released and now serves as a counseler for at risk youths...you should get your facts straight before you make a comment like that...

  • hes super fuckin fast

  • Rubin Carter looks huge

  • hey '' boxerrick '' , know your own sport mate , its style versus style . just because your the better fighter dont count for nothing inside the square ring. carter beats a griffith 6 or 7 times in 10.

  • no disrespect to Carter but this was a fluke . No one ever hurt Griffith like that before or after, he was a legend. he got beat up as an old man by some young punks i read once.Carter was really only famous for his story, which IS inspiring to say the least, but in this fight, the better fighter got beat

  • I just got done watching the film "The Hurricane", so I had to look up the name Rubin Carter. This man inspires me cherish my freedom to life greatly. Thank you.

  • @DunkaholicSB

Wow you saw a movie and believed it all? Sad. The Hurricane was a complete work of fiction, you do know that, right? There was never any doubt about Carter's guilt and he was a muderous thug from the age of 12. Now grow the fuck up and stop believing what you see in the movies kid.

  • @TheJomogogo oh and you just know this because you worked the case and went over all the files didn't you? dude grow up,it's people like you who believe that our government never makes mistakes and they're right on every single case is the reason why our country is so damn arrogant...

  • ...and that's the story of The Hurricane...

  • both of these fighters had some fucked up shit happen to them in there lives. really sad

  • @demoballa thats true, and it's really sad

  • @loyaldule10, ok he was convicted twice but against what evidence?? to say the states witnessess were not the best is a bit of an overstatement, in the end he was because he wasn't guilty

  • @bradburh

Its sad that our country is full of people as dumb as you that do not understand the difference between not guilty and being innocent. His case was thrown out because of "racism" involvement. There is NOTHING that points to him being innocent.

  • @stjdavis 'Our Country' you can have your country all you want just don't presume in your ignorance were all from the same country.... sure will allowed to our own opinion, i guess you don't believe that we can differ in opinons

  • tunney101, RENFOLIFE you two go fuck yourselves

  • i agree with tunney 101. he was a dumb koon

  • @RENFOLIFE your a fucking idiot

  • @tunney101.....you stupid fuckin racist!!! He was completely innocent, How bout i lock you in jail for 20 ish years see how you like ie

  • @bradburh ----------------the State's witnesses were not the best, but hwas was convicted twice, remember. In any event, what a shame it occurred. He was a devastating puncher, and would have been champ

  • @tunney101

fuck you! t'hat's bullshit and you know it!

  • @tunney101 you're an idiot

  • @tunney101 you racist lump of dog shit. You disgust me.

  • this man was in jail for nothing god bless him!

  • the movie with denzel Washington was great

  • this was a legendary fight

  • Emile Griffith

    was fuckin huge

  • with the skinniest legs ever :)

  • Hurricane throws bombs!

  • omg heis so lucky the second left hook didnt land.

    definant death

  • Emile Alphonse Griffith (born February 3, 1938) is a former boxer who was the first fighter from the U.S. Virgin Islands ever to become a world champion. He is best known for a controversial 1962 welterweight title fight in which Benny Paret died ten days after being knocked out by Griffith. In addition to the Welterweight title Griffith was a Middleweight champion.

  • these middle weights are fucking huge

  • did you know emile grithis previously killed a man in the ring b4 he thought carter... and the women he supposedly assaulted was btween trials.. here is a man that once punched out a horse with a right hook so imagine what he wud of done to her... yes rubin was an evil hard cunt and his family admitted he was capable of murder but he would of done with his hands and not with a gun... fact is he did not kill those ppl.. eye witnesses sed 2 men the same height john artis was 6"2 rubin was 5"8 !!!

  • @freybentoss I think that was duran with the horse... and Griffith did kill someone but it was incompetent reffing.

  • i would pay to see a fight like that that was alsome once emile fall it was all over

  • Emile was moving up in weight, sound familar pacman.

  • Damn! Carter may not be an all-time great, but it looks like he was HELL when things were going his way. Talk about throwing punches with bad intentions! Obviously he was also a pretty good finisher.

  • he was a solid contender but he wasnt an all time great

  • here comes the story of the hurrican

  • he could be the champion of the world!!!!!!!

  • He ran into Joey Giardello, if Joe could beat Sugar Ray Robinson Carter wasn"t going to!, a good contender though, would of given Hopkins kittens...

  • Thanks for posting this video. Carter is a beast for 158 lbs. His hands were explosive and he had the intimidation factor as well. Similar to a young tyson. Maybe not one of the best middleweights but very popular. I hear his fights were always on t.v. due to his excitng style.

  • woh thats class

  • fark damn never seen a hook like that b4

  • holy shit nice knockout.

  • If Carter was guilty why didn't the other defendant John Artest turn states evidence and walk as he was offered that deal three different times. Also why did one of the victoms of the shooting state that carter was not the shooter.

  • if you study the case you would have to know - that carter probably WAS guilty. Wasn't it great when he got out and then assaulted a woman right away? I think it's when he was out on bail during a retrial. All his Hollywood friends realized what a piece of garbage he was then and abandoned hiim.

  • He assaulted a woman after getting out of jail for escaping the boys home not after getting out of jail for the murders.

If you study the case you would have to know

  • it's comical u think that somehow makes it ok-but he ALSO assaulted a woman when he was out on bail BETWEEN TRIALS. LOOK it up- the reason he beat her up is the lying sack of human garbage Carter had been telling the woman (she was instrumental in helping him get a retrial) that there was a certain person who could prove his innocence if ONLY he could find him-1 day he shows up unexpectedly-it bcamre clear carter had been lying & person-COULD NOT confirm innocnce-so he (Carter) beat up woman.

  • Oh yea - if you studied the case - you would have known that. apparently you know nothing about the case.

  • congratulations. you just made a fool out of yourself!!

  • Quite the opposite thats not true, where are you getting your facts from, Wikipedia????

  • TRIAL TRANSCRIPTS, POLICE REPORTS, OFFICIAL RECORDS, WITNESS STATMENTS. whre are YOIU getting YOUR erroneous facdts from? which part of my statement are you claiming isn't true nad I will prove you wrong. PUT UP OR SHUT UP FOOL.

  • I dont see any of your statements, what are you talking about. I was talking to sdDCCXZCXCCX

  • THAT is not true - neither victim survivor cleared Carter. They did not identify him na did not exonerate him in court. However, in private - the male survivor told three people that carter was the shooter but carter had friends threaten him and his family with death if he testified against him. Carter was notorius for manipulating witnesses. It was proven he paid two witnesses to give him a false alibi. he was a very very dangerous and scary thugh capable of carrying out his threats

  • why are there legs so skinny?

  • carter didn't do anything. he's innocent no matter what anyone says or thinks.

  • i know this..carter defeat griffith future champ of the world

  • Rubin Carter is a waste of time. This guy played the race card and is living a free life, when 3 people he killed are 6ft under, thats not fair. If u look at the evidence, there is more enough to secure a conviction. Its pieces of shit like him who helped O.J Simpson get the idea of playing the race card and giving non-blacks a bad name. Rubin Carter: triple murderer.

  • First offf, get yer facts straight ya idiot!! O.J. NEVER played the "race card". I used to live in Los Angeles, and the LAPD used to set up blacks & latinos all the time!

Mark Fuhrman was a White supremist, who admitted that he set up young blacks so they could start out life with a criminal record.

I am White, but I know what the LAPD did to a lot of innocent people( black, white, latino, etc).

  • youre just a racist who obviously cant think for yourself

  • what? Just coz i believe Rubin Carter is guilty makes me racist. This is unbelievable. Go fuck yourself

  • no the way you present your opinion makes you come off as racist

  • nooooooo, i aint racist, trust me

  • grande carter

  • rubin didnt do anythin

  • carter is good

  • Bad stoppage for the best win of Carters overrated career. he was a piece of shit and washed up when he was arrested.

  • Hey idiot, Carter may not have been the best fighter, but unlike YOU, he wasn't a piece of shit.

  • Really thats interesting seeing as how from a young boy he was a criminal who eventually murdered several people and got released on a technicality. The guy is lying scum who has repeatedly beat women, mugged people, and generally been a drag on society. If thats not a piece of shit then I dont know what is...

  • Only a boy like yourself would believe such nonsense.

He was found to not have committed the crime and was rightfully released from prison in case you forgot... or are you angry that a Black man was freed from prison for a crime he did not commit?

  • Actually he was not exhonerated and was not found to be innocent. He was let loose on a procedural error. Do your homework before you go calling people "boy".

  • Comment removed

  • Actually, him being released exonerates him in my book. He didn't do it, deal with it.

  • I do apologize for being rude.

That being said, he's a free man, and rightfully so. Yes, this is a divisive issue, but I think he didn't do any of the crimes he was accused of. Just my view.

  • This was a great win for Carter over a legendary opponent, but prison did not rob him of a great career. At the time of his arrest he was 30 years old with a record of 27-12-1. He was considered past his prime, and would have served as a trialhorse until he retired.

  • It's a nonsense to speak about Carter in this way.

Hurricane colud have been one of the best "middle" ever... He is look similar to Marvin Hagler. Same power and a style very close of the Marvelous One. Carter must have his place in the Hall of Fame. Great boxer no doubt.

  • "Could have been one of the greatest" What a joke. Rubin Carter lost his last 7 fights. The fight depicted in the movie "Hurricane" was a farce. No racial judging, Joey Dillagardio beat the crap out of Carter. he even won a defamation of character suit against the makers of the movie. Carter was a street thug who had no boxing skills whatsoever.

  • I wouldnt go as far as saying he was just a street thug, i watched some of his fights and he does possess some skill, however he would never never never have been one of the greatest, no way in hell.

  • then why has he been awarded by wbc belt after his carrer? be serious.. He lost his fights cuz he was black and that is the truth!

  • 75% of his fights were against other blacks. So how does your comment make any sense? You gettin' your facts from that Hollywood fairytale movie?

  • Rubin Carter... one of the greatest.

  • He could of been one of the greatest, we would never know because of his destiny...

  • wow they both had chicken legs, doesnt look right

  • nice left hook hurrican 4-19-09

  • Listen, Emile was a great boxer and you and I should respect him for that. And while it is a tragedy that Benny Paret died. I would think that calling a one of the greatest boxers of all time a Maricon, kind of prevoked it.

  • Yes, I know he is. Benny Paret somehow found out and repeatedly referred to Griffith as a "maricon" (spanish for faggot) repeatedly, which angered Griffith. It's true. He is gay and kept it hidden for years for obvious reasons, but fighters he trained with knew he was gay without having to ask.

  • Actually a "fag" killed the guy who called him so.

  • You're talking about Benny "Kid" Paret, who Griffith knocked out in 1962. Paret died ten days later after lying in a coma. The "fag" issue relates to Paret calling Griffith a "Maricon", which is spanish for faggot, at the weigh in. Griffith says that the Paret incident is one of the worst things that has ever happened to him. Griffith is still one of the all time greats, even if he is gay.

  • Comment removed

  • Just liek Panama Al Brown was gay, but unlike Griffith, he was open about it, something quite rare in his day and age.

  • No, Griffith IS gay, there's no piss to take, you idiot. Read his book 9, 10, and Out.

  • grande huracan

  • Bravissimo Uomo!!!

    The great men!!!

    Rubin Hurrican Carter!!!!
