I'm not sure why it took me so long to appreciate this...while I absolutely love jet li and jackie chans style (I grew up post Bruce Lee), their combat is more a spectacle of atheleticism.

Bruce Lee captures what a fight would look like between a master of martial arts and the untrained - quick, economic strikes/movements that just floor you into the next millenium
