I ask all of you, what exactly makes a game the most realistic? graphical quality? impeccably detailed models and animation? real decapitations and visuals?
No. Everything starting from emotions, story, dialogue, atmosphere, animation, music, events and actions makes a game feel more close to reality in our minds.
That's what I think when I hear the term, realism in games.
These graphics and animation style looks perfect for something like Berserk. If they are to make a new game, it should do a better job at polishing the wound effects from sword slices and that would make it better.
I see nothing wrong with everything else, it looks magnificent. The music is great, the design as well, the atmosphere is there and the shades makes scenes look almost tear droping.
This was for sure one of the best fan based games out there to date..
If u guys and gals want the game berserk that came out on ps2 in japan but never came out to the us, we need a lot of people and we need to bug High Moon studios, used to be Sammy studios. makers of Beserk for ps2. who knows they might either translate it and bring it over or better yet remake it for next gen system ps3 & 360. One simple reason. The story takes place during the Millenium Falcon arc, which is still ways ahead of the current arc released in English (the Conviction arc), therefore, the game will bring spoilers to the Berserk storyline. So until Dark Horse released the next arc (which would probably cover up to '09), we'll never see this game released in English.

Well, uh, Devil May Cry 3's trailer didn't really tell me much, just that it was gonna have some awesome fight scenes and rock music, Stranglehold he was in a bar and for some reason started shooting up the place not really sure what's going on there and why he did that, Digital Devil Saga 2 just had a montage with action sequences, didn't really learn anything there either.

Im a big fan of Berserk any one who knows me can tell! The movie scenes are excelent as the manga is, but the gameplay is repetative and an hour later or so most of my pals became bored with it, that goas for me to when I had faught the ogre in the town. Im a hard core Berserk fan but you have to sleep, eat and breath Berserk to not get bored with it around half of it! I still play it before some one says Im gay for not playing it!

I wouldn't hold your breath for a new anime series fellas. They left SO many integral scenes of the core story of the manga in the first anime season, I would find it damn near impossible for any company to fill the giant plot holes. Face facts, we'll never see a 2nd season, it's been how many years? Now, an OVA. MAYBE.

There are places to find the manga online. And yes, they 're up to Vol. 32 in Japan (with no end in sight), and if you know where to look, you can find scanslations of them.
it's not a matter of quality, it's a matter of popularity. Berserk never got as popular in the US as it should have, and the previous Berserk game that was released in the US (Sword of the Berserk) didn't sell that well, so we're stuck with crappy Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach games since the US rarely gets a good anime anymore =/

But some good news is that Manga comics are coming out with Vampire Hunter D comics this November, and the next Berserk volume is already out Vol. 17. If you haven't read any of the manga comics yet your really missing out! Berserk is the shit!!!!!

No, but rule of thumb if you type in English people assume that you speak it well enough to know grammer but apparently the only english you know is obsenity why don't you act your age instead of an introverted teenager. I wouldn't hold your breath for a new anime series fellas. They left SO many integral scenes of the core story of the manga in the first anime season, I would find it damn near impossible for any company to fill the giant plot holes. Face facts, we'll never see a 2nd season, it's been how many years? Now, an OVA. MAYBE.

There are places to find the manga online. And yes, they 're up to Vol. 32 in Japan (with no end in sight), and if you know where to look, you can find scanslations of them.

it's not a matter of quality, it's a matter of popularity. Berserk never got as popular in the US as it should have, and the previous Berserk game that was released in the US (Sword of the Berserk) didn't sell that well, so we're stuck with crappy Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach games since the US rarely gets a good anime anymore =/

Dissapointing enough as it is, anime is not popular here ! But some good news is that Manga comics are coming out with Vampire Hunter D comics this November, and the next Berserk volume is already out Vol. 17. If you haven't read any of the manga comics yet your really missing out! Berserk is the shit!!!!!

Not exactly. There's a tiny gap between the game and the end of the anime. Actually, this game is an adaptation directly from the manga, not precisely a follow-up to the anime.
