To really be the best leader, one wouldn't have committed the atrocities that any warring side committed against humanity.

No order has ever been produced or documents that would substantiate such a order that Germany planned to exterminate the jews. 2. But it's not the point: In The Archives of Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, are many documents, including German plans made by Zentralbauleitung der Waffen-SS und Polizei Auschwitz O/S, with gas chambers and crematoria. @The808102 Part1: As You wish: Propably it would still take too long. And not everybody would die - some people would die faster, and the rest would have more oxygen. So too much time. I don't know how about normal suffocating due to lack of oxygen, but I know that Nazis were using exhaust gas, in specially designed truck-chambers. Few of these were found in Chełmno (Kulmhof) camp. But it was less effective method, so propably that's the reason.

No order has ever been produced or documents that would substantiate such a order that Germany planned to exterminate the jews. 2. But it's not the point: In The Archives of Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, are many documents, including German plans made by Zentralbauleitung der Waffen-SS und Polizei Auschwitz O/S, with gas chambers and crematoria. Or estimations of crematoria daily efficiency. Not even mentioning 5000 total relations of former prisoners. So "lack of evidence" is bullshit. Rather ask Yourself if You really looked for it.

@The808102 Part1: As You wish: Propably it would still take too long. And not everybody would die - some people would die faster, and the rest would have more oxygen. So too much time. I don't know how about normal suffocating due to lack of oxygen, but I know that Nazis were using exhaust gas, in specially designed truck-chambers. Few of these were found in Chełmno (Kulmhof) camp. But it was less effective method, so propably that's the reason.

2) Okay, Blitzkrieg you meant. What is this for a wild theory. Russians gave Germans training? Uhm, you are really in real life or did you see that in a crazy film or video game. If I remember correctly especially the missing training or education of the Russian soldiers was the reason for so many casualties.

2 during the 20s the soviets gave training to the german soldier,because germany got pwned ww1 and couldnt have an army. The reason for the soviet being unprepared was the Stalin purges. Mikhail Tukhachevsky, the man who invented modern concepts of war, was killed in the 30s purges by stalin, along with thousands of other officers. If it wasnt for its purges the CCCP wouldnt have lost a single manin the war

Most of the killing that was done in the 30s purges to the red army was to prevent an uprising of the red army aganst stalin. Stalin knew that the Red army was the only thing that could stop his quest for absolute power, so he killed his best officers. The officers killed were not jews, and the reason they were killed was not due either with ethnicity or religion, it was simply becouse they were good officers

@LotrFC Russian casualties were not exclusively from lack of education and training (I'm sure we all know Zhukov's minefield quote). Russians just had contempt for human life that wasn't present in most of the other armies. Even late in the war with years of experienced gained they still managed to lose more men against the little boys and old men Germany sent against them.

I think we all know the stories about Russian infantry running towards German soldiers and every Russian that stops and tries to flee gets shot by his own officiers while his comrades get slashed by German MG-fire. Yes, Russians had a contempt for human life.
Moreover Stalin murdered most of his skilled generals AND Russian soldiers had a bad equipment and were not equally educated like their German foes.

No offense to anyone who likes Hitler, but I think he was a cruel man. Yes, Stalin was too. And I know the Allies are NOT perfect; but why would Hitler kill a whole race of people because they didn't have his "approval"? I know Stalin was crazy too, and he has no excuse for what he did, either. But let's be real: ALL of the nations in the Second Great War made some type of mistake. All these rude comments are not needed, hindsight is 20/20. And we all should learn from past mistakes.

In 1941 Britain was being given a tough time by Germany and when Hitler found out that Britain was trying to ally with Russia, he broke the NAP and declared war on Russia
