We got um out here to but theyre hipocrits, they cruise around friday handing out DWIs and tickets for loud exhaust...Then the next night theyre the same one gettin plastered and running around with mbrp cans on their F7s. Should just outrun um cuz one has a 370 cat and the other is on an older trail touring.....thats all our county can afford lol
@XC600RMK Haha itb be fun out running them, i just meet up with them again and they had Gtx600 Rev touring and they had the trail pretty well set up that there wasn't much room between them and the sleds. But yeah they dont like race cans around here either
This was in Calaboogie but i live just south of Ottawa, i have seen them around a couple times other then this i guess its kinda like the cops on motorcycles they only really go out on weekend and when its nice out lol
down were i live the cops drive can am 800 outlanders and have radar guns givin to them by the state. and in the winter they drive thundercat 1000's with radar guns. but once you get out of populated areas there are no speed limits and you can go as fast as you want.
@prawcess yes they do, its all intimidation though. they will stop chasing you if you exceed speeds over 85 mph+. but once in a great while you will see a cop with a little skidoo.
@Formula360097 Really, were do you ride? These guys are the third ones i came across. The first time we actually blew up my 2001 Mach Z 800 and they towed my sled back to my Jeep.
@NickLTR Yeah, man. I used to ride with my Uncle in Idaho on his Artic 500 and Polaris 800 twin. Now, it has been few years since I last rode, so I decided to get my own.
The good ones have a quick look at reg numbers, license sticker and pass and wave u through. Another typical jerk waving his hands and trailside lecture.....
@kah68 Yup, you got that right. I think another the thing the cop was concerned about was that i didnt have a license to drive i only had my snowmobiling license and with that legaly i wasnt allowed to cross any road way but i guess he wasnt watching when i passed over it so he was pretty consistant about that, just a waste of my time
@NickLTR Actually, even with only a motorized snow vehicle operators licence, you are allowed to cross roads as long as it's only crossing them at approximately 90 degrees and not traveling on the side of them. Just an FYI. Keep poppin' those skis!
@bliane386 Really? I never looked into that i know that there are passes in parks and wildlife reserves around here and they say trail passes needed or something but i never actually looked into if they can give you a ticket? I guess the money is going to the club to pay groomers so maybe it isnt a must in some areas?
@NickLTR yes thats all a pass is for it pays for warming shelters and groomers and some clubs have gas stops as well........ theres no law that states you got to have a trail pass sure they will give you a hard time but theres nothing they can do
@netefrog Yup lol i was, at the beginning of my ride i noticed my silicone fell out from around my muffler so it was already getting pretty loud that trip!
We were always getting bugged that week, the 2 stroke smoke is making ppl in other rooms sick, 11 sunday is to early to drive around, angry fisher men who weren't catching anything blaming it on us...
Been looking at a Yamaha Nytro though, hoping the guy wants to trade for a Cr250
I live in Canada and where I snowmobile, if I ever saw a cop I would ask him to kindly leave the property and say "Thank You."
