Take this track for example, it's 3 dimensional. There are key changes all over the place, good playing of instruments etc. Most of the stuff on the radio now just sounds like a single looped up keyboard. Real BANDS need to make a comeback.

@MTXSHO9732vV8SHO well as we both know music changes. and i agree that it is stripped down. but i like it and i like music from the past as well. but we can have both cant we. i know that there is still real RB out there. now its just a matter of what radio stations you have in your area. i know in my hometown they only have one you can hear clearly and its def the pop rb thats played there. you just have to expose the kids. but from what i see, most kids dig up the real stuff on their own

@kennedy220 I'll answer you in a strange way. In 1994 or so, Kevin McHale was asked about the expansion of the NBA. He said that it would ruin the competitive nature of the league. 17 years later I COULDN'T agree more! When I was 27 I scoffed at his reply, now I see clearly just how RIGHT he was.
In the mid 80's, many popular R&B musicians were asked what they though about Hip Hop. They said it would take away from the musicianship of "Black Music". I'LL BE DAMNED IF THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN TOO!

Keep in mind that I actually do Hip Hop tracks as well but as a person that's more interested in the well being of R&B in all it's forms, I have to agree with those musicians. Look what passes for 'Hip Hop' these days! PLIES, WAKA FLAKA & Gucci??? "Radio" Hip Hop is a damned mess (and R&B ain't far behind!). I really though Hip Hop was going to bring musicianship back with people like The Fugees and The Roots but these kids are consigning fake fools like Rick Ross. It's unbelievable!

The artists I identified are part of the same genre (R&B) at least in the minds of some (probably Clear Channel) which would explain the 'relationship'. In my mind anyway Clear Channel is destroying the whole American Music Process. Just spoke with a DJ friend of mine. Found out Clear Chan FIRED HIM!
I'm good though.I can just continue to listen to old music put together by people that don't useful default loops inside of keyboards. Works for me.

She also freestyles with no choreography very on point on this video styled her own videos and was very much more a trendsetter and fashion diva and so on also different than those other girls you list, no shade though. I never heard Ms Jody wanted to play Catwoman and have seen or read a lot of her interviews print and tv but remember the rumor. She looks nothing like Katt 2 me
