I would suggest trying to catch your black moor in the net from behind him, not from the front where you could hurt his eyes. Those things can fall of ya know! :P

you should try and avoid netting your fish unless it is completely necessary (ie cleaning or changing tank) black moors can be quite delicate and a net can harm them if not used properly
You know, I think that's a black Demekin, not a Moor. Delightful fish, and I think a great way to handle him is with your hands, to avoid hurting or even "popping off" his lovely eyes. You'll find they contour to your hands and relax, with luck. Thanks for the video.
