  • OOPS What I meant was that I am a witness to a Bruce Springsteen Not Stumped Virgin Masterpiece

  • I am witness to a Virgin Bruce Springsteen Not Stumped Masterpiece

  • been a year already????? oy!

  • It's really nice to see pop artists of the day doing something "live" that was a hit in the doowop era of r&r, like this #1 hit by Dion from 1962! I have it somewhere in my record collection.

  • The Wanderer!!!

  • i was there!

  • LOL, he's played this before. Theres a video of him playing it in 1982. It was part of the River Tour. ; ) He does use a monitor with they lyrics.

  • Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ 07/25/82 w/ Cats On A Smooth Surface. The E Street band had never played it before, not Bruce.

  • they are all great vet

  • Saw Chicago and Des Moines - both great but this was a party!!! Thank you BSESB for coming to I-O-W-A!

  • This was a great show. I've seen the Boss many times. i also loved him trying to figure out how to play the tune. Took my 19 yr old daughter for the 1st time and she loved it too.

  • Thanks a million for posting this clip...it was one of the best highlights of any concert I've been to. Rock on, old man, rock on!!!

  • This was a great concert. Very interesting to watch the band figure out 'The Wanderer' before playing it for the first time.

  • It was a great show! I was sitting to the right of the stage... I think I can see me!

  • 84 is the new 60

  • Thanks for posting! Great show by a great band...Bruce is the best. Period.

  • I was at this show last night.Absolutely the BEST Springsteen concert I've been to.Bruce gathered up the cardboard signs people in the audience had brought with them.He played some of the requests including this one which had stated "The Wanderer" and underneath that "Stump" as in stump the band. This was a cover song Bruce had not played in over 25 years but it came off great once they had it.

  • I love how Bruce prepares himself for something he hasn't played in a long time. Mumbling & strumming a few chords. But, he always nails it..

  • Awesome show.

  • Thanks for posting this. Took them 2.5 minutes to get it down (probably how long it took them to get the words up on the monitor) but they really pulled this off well. There's just no stumping Bruce.

  • hey remember me, im the guy that loves your posts from the mansfield show. remember i wished you posted prove it. anyways your right you just cant stump the e street band

  • No monitor... I was about twenty feet from the stage, there was one camera facing him that was right behind me and that was it. He knew the words, somehow.

  • I was in the front row, and there was a monitor at the feet of his mic stand. It was flat on the ground. I thought it was some sort of guitar pedalboard at first, but soon realized it was a small lyric screen.

  • I was there too, it was my sign. He sang with his eyes closed most of the time. However he does have a TelePrompTer thats flat in the stage.

  • wow...impressive. didn't know if he was gonna pull this off
