While Reach does provide more customization in the system, Halo 3 does provide a challenge to gamers, as I beat legendary on Reach on my own withing three days. Each game has it's flaws, but they're both equally good as games within the halo franchise. Honestly, the only thing I will be ready to judge is Halo 4. The story line had better pick up where it left off with a thrust, and I am putting my faith in 343 to make the Halo franchise amazingly better.
i honestly think Halo 3 is far better that Reach. Reach plays more like Modern Warfare 3 ( i dont play Call of duty mulitplayer very often) the maps in Reach were boring. Halo 3 multiplayer has more balance (if you are playing honestly)

halo Reach is more popular and has way more gamers mainly because of the Team Slayer and Living Dead Playlists. i've been on halo 3 multiplayer recently, and and most of the playlist populations are in the hundreds, while team slayer is around 1000. halo reach playlists are mostly in the thousands....i guess people don't really like tryhard-like games after all.

Really in some maps they spawn Sniper's very close to the Shotgun, And so it's impossible to kill them! In Halo 3, shoot somebody 20 CM beside his head its a skill, In Halo Reach it doesn't go like that, I think that's why so much people are pissed.. Did you even play both?

@gamerdude1246 Halo 3 has the BR, Reach has the DMR. The DMR was introduced to try and combat those who would just spam the trigger in hope of getting a kill. It failed epically as it only encouraged more spamming. The TU will make the DMR worse as no bloom will make it a two-three shot kill weapon, it will be a mini version of the sniper.
Every Halo has a bad betrayal system. But I never experienced as many problems on H3 than I did on Reach. I can easily snipe one of my team-mates and.....

XP system is certainly better than Cr. The Cr system is terrible as it rewards everyone no matter how shite they were. Someone crap who AFK's for all his time can easily get to inheritor while it may take some good players a long time to do that as they may have a limited time to play. No ranking=No skill gap

The Cr system rewards play time and not skill. I've seen some Inheritors/Forerunners who can't even manage a decent K/D while they get owned by a Captain. True skill is taken out the game meaning a lot of matches are just very unfair for those who are new. Nothing fucked up about the XP system at all.

Inheritors aren't rare at all. Three months ago maybe but I see them quite regularly now (Played one called Obafemi Martins not so long ago, XD). Not many of them are seen though as I doubt half of them would play MM after maxing the Commendations. I probably wouldn't play MM regularly after investing 80 days of my time into one game.

H3 map packs were better, the actual maps on the game were ten times the quality of that on Reach. Forge world maps show up frequently in MM and it is frustrating having to play the same retarded community maps.

@gamerdude1246 Forge world maps are bland, repetitive and usually have a place where players can camp with little worry.
The re-made maps on Reach are bad, Reflection is average if people don't camp at the lift. Hemmorhage is decent but some game modes just make it very one-sided. I don't want to get started about Pinnacle, it is the WORST map to play on in a game of SWAT if you are the blue team.

Forge is superior in Reach but the custom games on H3 were always the better ones. It was a lot more easier to change something instead of having to look through ten sub-menu's to do one little thing to the game.

Reach is a easier to play than 3. Randomness reigns and the DMR proves this when at Mid range. The features implemented in Reach made it easy for a N00B to do decent in it. AA's have definitely slowed down gameplay and have helped out these n00bs a lot in ruining games with AL, camo and double pummeling.
Reach promised a lot, didn't live up to the hype though.

These honestly arent that good. Ive had MANY better snipers better than this. The only ones that looked remotely skillful were 8 and 3. Number one was just a typical game of snipers for me..

@gamerdude1246 No, I never said MP's are better. If a game needs five DLC's in one year for it to attract a crowd, it is obviously a failing one.
Inheritors aren't rare at all. Three months ago maybe but I see them quite regularly now (Played one called Obafemi Martins not so long ago, XD). Not many of them are seen though as I doubt half of them would play MM after maxing the Commendations. I probably wouldn't play MM regularly after investing 80 days of my time into one game.

@gamerdude1246 I wouldn't quit entirely, What I said was I'd stop playing MM every day and only play it if I feel like it. I'd only really bother doing Forge as it is the only thing on Reach that I can properly enjoy. Many will still play Reach MM frequently though.
H3 map packs were better, the actual maps on the game were ten times the quality of that on Reach. Forge world maps show up frequently in MM and it is frustrating having to play the same retarded community maps.

@gamerdude1246 Forge world maps are bland, repetitive and usually have a place where players can camp with little worry.
The re-made maps on Reach are bad, Reflection is average if people don't camp at the lift. Hemmorhage is decent but some game modes just make it very one-sided. I don't want to get started about Pinnacle, it is the WORST map to play on in a game of SWAT if you are the blue team.
40 awesome Halo Reach maps? where ? All I seem to be getting are a load of badly-designed ones.

@gamerdude1246 Infact, many people agree with me. Many are tired of seeing pathetic maps like Mt.LamLam. If you are trying to stick up for these sort of maps then you have a screw loose. Ever heard of a word called balance?
Forge is superior in Reach but the custom games on H3 were always the better ones. It was a lot more easier to change something instead of having to look through ten sub-menu's to do one little thing to the game.

-It's one of their first Halo games, thus never truly appreciating the original series as much as true fans

Reach is a easier to play than 3. Randomness reigns and the DMR proves this when at Mid range. The features implemented in Reach made it easy for a N00B to do decent in it. AA's have definitely slowed down gameplay and have helped out these n00bs a lot in ruining games with AL, camo and double pummeling.
Reach promised a lot, didn't live up to the hype though.
