I use the pitchfork in any timeframe, mostly in combination with Fibonacci price targets, to have an idea when that price target will be reached. Just looking at the 1 minute ES future now (Feb. 8), at 3:32 EST time, we had a crossing of the last pitchfork with the 2 last possible historical Fibonacci projections. So, it works even on a 1 minute chart. Important is that you look for a pitchfork that has an inclination in line with the previous price move.
MasterBlasterSteele, Andrews Pitchfork is an algorithm, so there is no timeframe boundary. Since it is takes some time to draw and make decision I w ould not recommend 1 min timeframe. however Andrews pitchfork can work on all timeframes.
Wonderful.... You can also see "Andrews seminar live" on youtube.

Thank you for this break down;
It would also be great to know your opinion as to what time frames its best to use the pitchfork on to avoid false signals. Thank You.
