The southwestern stuff has been following us around since our years of living in California, Nevada & Colorado. I'm not sure it works as well in a Pennsylvania farmhouse but there you have it! It's here & it's staying. =)
The walls are two different colors. The side walls of the room are a Pottery Barn color called Cambridge Beige which is throughout the kitchen & hallways too. But the fireplace wall is different - a color called Bainbridge & it's really a gold/green/brown - a very strange color that reflects the light oddly. We thought we'd try it & it seems to work.

The colors look good, and I like the Southwest decor theme. It all looks very comfortable.
Oh...and Jake is certainly "fluffy"! Cute cats.

Jakey's pretty big at about 21 pounds but he eats no more than the other two. That's just the way he is. He'd tell you he's fluffy. =)

OMG, Jakey and Darius are so adorable! Jake looks like a gray Benny haha (a little wider along the side than he should be)
The color of the wall from here looks like a mossy green taupe. Nice!
